easier?
One way to do it would be number
splitting.
Example: Change 7329850 to vinculum.

2. Then we convert each section separately.
So 7=10-3 and 3298=3300-02.
Note: The 0 does not need to have a bar because +0 = -0.

4. Converting Back to Normal
• Converting Vinculum numbers back to
normal using number splitting is very easy.
• Let’s say we have to change back
13330250 from our previous example.
• First, split the numbers after every bar
digit(s).
• Then simply subtract the bar numbers in
their parts. So, 10-3=7 and 3300-2=3298.
