This document provides a 3-step process for converting ground coordinates to map coordinates and georeferencing a topo sheet: 1) Add control points to the topo sheet by clicking points and entering their coordinates. 2) Rectify the sheet by linking the control points to the coordinate system. 3) Save the rectified sheet and select it in the ArcCatalog for future use by geologists.
