Semi-Active Vibration Control of a Quarter Car Model Using MR Damperishan kossambe
This presentation analytically evaluates the dynamic response of a quarter car using semi active control system. Semi active control system are becoming popular because they provide with good reliability like passive system and consume less power to give better performance than the active system. Magnetorheological (MR) fluid can produce good controllable damping force under the application of magnetic field and hence can be used as effective element in semiactive vibration control.
Out of the various semi active control strategies, the Bouc-Wen model control strategy is used in this work. Response of the quarter car is measured using MR damper and compared with normal passive damper.

Abstract In this paper the modelling and Design of a Beam on which two Piezoelectric Ceramic Lead Zirconate Titanate ( PZT) patches are bonded on the top and bottom surface as Sensor/Actuator collocated pair is presented. The work considers the Active Vibration Control (AVC) using Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) Controller. The beam is assumed as Euler-Bernoulli beam. The two PZT patches are also treated as Euler-Bernoulli beam elements. The contribution of mass and stiffness of two PZT patches in the design of entire structure are also considered. The beam is modelled using three Finite Elements. The patches can be bonded near the fixed end, at middle or near the free end of the beam as collocated pair. The design uses first two dominant vibratory modes. The effect of PZT sensor/actuator pair is investigated at different locations of beam in vibration control. It can be concluded from the work that best result is obtained when the PZT patches are bonded near the fixed end. MODELLING AND SIMULATION OF INVERTED PENDULUM USING INTERNAL MODEL CONTROLJournal For Research
The internal model control (IMC) philosophy relies on the internal model principle, which states that control can be achieved only if the control system encapsulates, either implicitly or explicitly, some representation of the process to be controlled. In particular, if the control scheme is developed based on an exact model of the process, then perfect control is theoretically possible. Transfer function of Inverted Pendulum is selected as the base of design, which examines IMC controller. Matlab/simulink is used to simulate the procedures and validate the performance. The results shows robustness of the IMC and got graded responses when compared with PID. Furthermore, a comparison between the PID and IMC was shows that IMC gives better response specifications.
Optimization of automobile active suspension system using minimal orderIJECEIAES
This paper presents an analysis and design of linear quadratic regulator for reduced order full car suspension model incorporating the dynamics of the actuator to improve system performance, aims at benefiting: Ride comfort, long life of vehicle, and stability of vehicle. Vehicle’s road holding or handling and braking for good active safety and driving pleasure and keeping vehicle occupants comfortable and reasonably well isolated from road noise, bumps, and vibrations are become a key research area conducted by many researchers around the globe. Different researchers were tested effectiveness of different controllers for different vehicle model without considering the actuator dynamics. In this paper full vehicle model was reduced to a minimal order using minimal realization technique. The entire system responses were simulated in MATLAB/Simulink environment. The effectiveness of linear quadratic regulator controller was compared for the system model with and without actuator dynamics for different road profiles. The simulation results were indicated that percentage reduction in the peak value of vertical and horizontal velocity for the linear quadratic regulator with actuator dynamics relative to linear quadratic regulator without actuator dynamics was 28.57%. Overall simulation results were demonstrated that proposed control scheme has able to improve the effectiveness of the car model for both ride comfort and stability.

Antilock braking systems are used in modern cars to prevent the wheels from locking after brakes are applied. The dynamics of the controller needed for antilock braking system depends on various factors. The vehicle model often is in nonlinear form. Controller needs to provide a controlled torque necessary to maintain optimum value of the wheel slip ratio. The slip ratio is represented in terms of vehicle speed and wheel rotation.
In present work first of all system dynamic equations are explained and a slip ratio is expressed in terms of system variables namely vehicle linear velocity and angular velocity of the wheel. By applying a bias braking force system, response is obtained using Simulink models. Using the linear control strategies like PI-type the effectiveness of maintaining desired slip ratio is tested. It is always observed that a steady state error of 10% occurring in all the control system models.

A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
