CONTROLLING THE VIBRATION OF
AUTOMOBILE SUSPENSION SYSTEM
USING PID CONTROLLER

• This paper proposes the study of automobile active suspension system
for the purpose of improving riding comfort to passengers.
• Simultaneously improving the stability of vehicle by reducing vibration
effects on suspension system.
• The modeling and simulation is carried out in Simulink environment and
the PID (Proportional Integral derivative)
• The active control of the suspension system is being carried out by
proper tuning of the controller.
• The dynamic performance of the integrated system is improved
significantly by using the controller.

PRACTICAL APPLICATION
• Can be used in almost all vehicles.

  • 2. 11/29/2015 Dept. of EEE, CIN , ASE AMRITAPURI 2 • This paper proposes the study of automobile active suspension system for the purpose of improving riding comfort to passengers. • Simultaneously improving the stability of vehicle by reducing vibration effects on suspension system. • The modeling and simulation is carried out in Simulink environment and the PID (Proportional Integral derivative) • The active control of the suspension system is being carried out by proper tuning of the controller. • The dynamic performance of the integrated system is improved significantly by using the controller.
