What is NLP?
The short answer is that NLP is sort of a software for the mind. You can use NLP to change your mindset and hence you’re changing your life. An example could be that you want to start a business but due to negative thinking, fears and doubts you don’t take action and hence not getting any results.
With NLP you can change your mindset to have determination, courage and resilience to start your business and make it successful.
As NLP is a software for the mind, this is a simplified explanation of what it is, you can use that software to ‘program’ your mind to have courage instead of your old ‘program’ of fear.
The difference between a happy, performing work force and an ineffective bunch of ’its-just-a-job’ employees is that single word – Zing! The happy employee has it; you can see it in the smile, body language, humour, confidence and even the half-hidden whistle under the breath… They love who they are and what they do - no wonder they so excel at it. Zing will facilitate this change with you.

NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) is an approach to communications, change, and performance that considers both the conscious and unconscious mind. It defines states as the combination of thoughts, emotions, and physical energy that determine one's mood. States can be either resourceful or unresourceful. People create their states based on how they perceive the world through their five senses, but this perception is altered by processes of deletion, distortion, and generalization of information before it reaches the conscious mind.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy created in the 1970s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California. NLP makes presuppositions that people already have the resources for change and that there is no failure, only feedback. NLP works with representational systems, including the five senses of visual, auditory, kinesthetic, gustatory, and olfactory. It also uses submodalities to understand the qualities of sensory representations and the meta-model to find explicit meanings in communication through questions. Sensory acuity allows inferring thoughts by observing expressions and body language.
The document provides an overview of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and how it can be used to successfully manage students. It discusses how NLP was developed in the 1970s by modeling highly successful people. The author explores using NLP techniques like representational systems, rapport building, effective communication, anchors and metaphors to improve classroom management and student outcomes. The author attended training to further develop their NLP skills and believes these techniques have helped them become a more effective teacher.
The document discusses common and uncommon phobias. It then discusses bad habits and introduces the SWISH pattern as a method for replacing undesirable behaviors or fears with empowering responses. The SWISH pattern involves identifying the behavior to change, creating an ideal image of performing the new behavior, and using visualization to "swish" the ideal image over the original one to replace it. The key is to repeat the process quickly.

Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy created in the 1970s. It is based on the idea that neurological processes, language, and learned behaviors can be changed to achieve goals. NLP uses techniques like anchoring, reframing, and state management. It has roots in psychology and neurology and aims to train the brain for betterment. NLP identifies six modalities of how people perceive information through their senses and how these filters affect our worldview and behavior, including in language learning. NLP can be applied in the classroom through creating rapport, mirroring, maintaining flow, and modeling good practices to improve interpersonal communication and learning.
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is an approach to communication, personal development, and psychotherapy created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in California in the 1970s that views a person as a whole mind-body system with patterned connections between internal experience, language, and behavior. NLP focuses on teacher-learner relationships, sensory imagery, and assumes skills, beliefs, and behavior are all learned. It aims to help with interacting with others, personal development, and state management through techniques like creating rapport, mirroring, creating positive states, and anchoring while identifying beliefs, values, decisions, and memories.
This document discusses techniques for influencing others including establishing rapport, identifying triggers, using chunking and modeling, embedding commands, reframing language, discussing timelines, increasing sensory acuity, using isopraxis, creating anchors, and interrupting patterns.
Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) was developed in the 1970s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder based on their research studying excellent therapists. They sought to identify patterns of human behavior, language, and cognition that could be modeled for effective communication and personal change. NLP focuses on how subjective experiences are represented neurologically and how language affects programming of behavior. It uses concepts like representational systems, submodalities, and modeling to modify thought and behavior patterns. NLP lacks a unified definition and empirical support but is applied in fields like communication, education, coaching and therapy. It emphasizes experiential learning and identifying an individual's preferred representational systems of visual, auditory and kinesthetic modalities.

NLP - creating HUGE difference in Business quickly!
Why NLP?
Because NLP is for people and organisations who have realised that UK business today is one great ‘People on People’
interaction. That’s all we really do. Think of your day and you’ll quickly realise that you are either interacting with people or
creating information to create an effect in people… even with something as simple as a text or email. So if all you have is you and
other people then you need something to get the best out of both.
Organisations that don’t ‘get’ this are left wondering why factors such as ‘ownership’, morale, and cynicism are out of control,
why teams of people seem to add up to less rather than more, why results are sinking. Some organisations do get this. Their
people get on, their managers have rapport with teams, they have control and direction and they get the job done. These are
the organisations that, even in a downturn, treat this as an opportunity because those that invest and keep their heads when all
around are losing theirs are the ones that prosper.
Much more than systems and process training, much more than training behaviours or rote skills, Business Specific Neuro-
Linguistic Programming (NLP) develops Critical Abilities in people upon which true competencies and success are built.
Traditional training works at the behavioural and procedural level and may be an easy option for some people because it has an
overtly structured approach. The truth is we need all of this and much more. What is a compelling argument for NLP is that of it
TM
being the only People Technology that allows us to define a structure for what goes on in the mindset, attitude and approach
of successful people… and if we know how successful people communicate and do what they do, then we can install that in
ourselves, others and our organisations.
If you want to be:-
• in control of your situation,
• able to relate successfully to customers, stakeholders, as a leader
• delivering results with and through people, consistently
Delta Business NLP delivers the Critical Abilities you need in a ‘use now’ format.
