ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Dalam sebuah proses pencapaian target perusahaan seringkali ditemukan kendala dan obstacles
yang seringkali menghambat proses itu sendiri bahkan tidak sedikit pula beberapa organisasi,
perusahaan ataupun sampai level bisnis unit mengalami phase stagnan dan tidak ada
pergerakan positif sama sekali. Sehingga beberapa Leaders mengilustrasikan dan memberikan
istilah phase tersebut “Like running in the deep water”. Seiring dengan perkembangan bisnis dan
organisasi dewasa ini, sangatlah menuntut para Leaders dan Managers untuk meningkatkan
kemampuan (SKILL) dan kemauannya (WILL) masing-masing dalam memimpin dan
mengembangkan anggota team atau karyawannya untuk dapat mencapai tujuan dengan efektif
dan efisien.Tetapi hal tersebut juga sekaligus memberikan tantangan yang cukup tinggi bagi para
Leaders dan Managers untuk TIDAK hanya memimpin melainkan mengembangkan dan
memberikan nilai lebih/tambahan (value added dan value creation) bagi seluruh
individu/karyawan yang dibawah kepemimpinannya. Obstacles selanjutnya adalah apa dan
bagaimana melakukan hal tersebut adalah sebuah pertanyaan yang juga membutuhkan bukan
sekedar jawaban, melainkan pengertian dan pemahaman menyeluruh atas semua proses dan
tahapan yang dibutuhkan.
Coaching dan Mentoring adalah merupakan proses yang mampu menjawab hal itu semua.
Karena Coaching merupakan sebuah tindakan yang mampu memberikan inspirasi, memberikan
contoh, memotivasi dan membimbing kepada setiap orang agar mampu mengeluarkan POTENSI
TERHEBAT nya untuk mencapai tujuan secara efektif dan efisien. Semua Leaders dan Managers
adalah ‘Boss’ tetapi TIDAK semua Leaders dan Managers adalah ‘Coach’ untuk team nya –
“Structure says Boss, Relationship says Coach” , McGraw Hill. Tujuan utama dari Effective
Coaching adalah sama dengan tujuan utama parenting – untuk menciptakan independence bagi
semua karyawan dan individu. Sehingga Coaching is not an event, but the way of life (Coaching
merupakan proses yang dapat membentuk gaya hidup Anda, bukan hanya sebuah tindakan atau
kegiatan yang harus Anda lakukan).
Beberapa alasan terbesar yang menjadi hambatan para Leaders atau Managers tidak melakukan
Coaching adalah sbb:
1. Mereka tumbuh dan berkembang tidak melalui proses Coaching sehingga mereka tidak
mengetahui tahapan dan cara dalam melakukannya – Tidak memiliki pengetahuan dan
ilmu Coaching
2. Tidak memahami atau tidak memiliki tools untuk melakukan Coaching
3. Bahkan beberapa Leaders dan Managers menganggap Coaching merupakan kegiatan
confrontation kepada team

Experience
Alfa is a Sales Performance & Quality Management consultant and Training Facilitator with more
than 20-years experience in sales area, specially in Banking Industry (BCA, LippoBank, Danamon,
CIMB Niaga). His in-depth experience in the field has made her a valuable leader of Sales &
Service Performance Improvement Project Teams, Sales Coach and Trainer.
He started his career at Komselindo-Komunikasi Selular Indonesia (TeleCommunication
Company) with last position as a Sales Area Coordinator. Then he moved out to Banking
Industry starting with Credit Card Sales Officer at PT. BCA, Tbk in 2001, his excellent
performance has rewarded him a promotion to a Marketing Communication Officer for
Consumer Division in the next two years.
Since his passion was in sales, he took the opportunity to be a Consumer Liabilities & Telesales
Manager at LippoBank.Then in the next three years, he moved out to a higher position as a
Telesales Program & Project Management Manager at Bank Danamon.
He ended Banking Industry carrier at PT. Bank CIMB Niaga, Tbk with the latest position as a
National Division Head – Direct Sales Funding. Now he is a facilitator with delivering talented
and good performance especially at technical & hard competencies in Sales.

Coaching & Mentoring Programs/ Alfa Maulana, MBA/ Associate Trainers James Gwee Page 1 2-Days Workshop atau In-House Program (3 Bulan) Pendampingan & Visitasi Coaching & Mentoring Programs for Effective Leaders & Managers (Boss to COACH) Fasilitator : Alfa Maulana, S.Sos., MBA ABOUT THE PROGRAM “Managers require training and support to help them make the transition from high sales performers to developers of the next class of high performers”- Richardson, McGraw Hill Dalam sebuah proses pencapaian target perusahaan seringkali ditemukan kendala dan obstacles yang seringkali menghambat proses itu sendiri bahkan tidak sedikit pula beberapa organisasi, perusahaan ataupun sampai level bisnis unit mengalami phase stagnan dan tidak ada pergerakan positif sama sekali. Sehingga beberapa Leaders mengilustrasikan dan memberikan istilah phase tersebut “Like running in the deep water”. Seiring dengan perkembangan bisnis dan organisasi dewasa ini, sangatlah menuntut para Leaders dan Managers untuk meningkatkan kemampuan (SKILL) dan kemauannya (WILL) masing-masing dalam memimpin dan mengembangkan anggota team atau karyawannya untuk dapat mencapai tujuan dengan efektif dan efisien.Tetapi hal tersebut juga sekaligus memberikan tantangan yang cukup tinggi bagi para Leaders dan Managers untuk TIDAK hanya memimpin melainkan mengembangkan dan memberikan nilai lebih/tambahan (value added dan value creation) bagi seluruh individu/karyawan yang dibawah kepemimpinannya. Obstacles selanjutnya adalah apa dan bagaimana melakukan hal tersebut adalah sebuah pertanyaan yang juga membutuhkan bukan sekedar jawaban, melainkan pengertian dan pemahaman menyeluruh atas semua proses dan tahapan yang dibutuhkan. Coaching dan Mentoring adalah merupakan proses yang mampu menjawab hal itu semua. Karena Coaching merupakan sebuah tindakan yang mampu memberikan inspirasi, memberikan contoh, memotivasi dan membimbing kepada setiap orang agar mampu mengeluarkan POTENSI TERHEBAT nya untuk mencapai tujuan secara efektif dan efisien. Semua Leaders dan Managers adalah ‘Boss’ tetapi TIDAK semua Leaders dan Managers adalah ‘Coach’ untuk team nya – “Structure says Boss, Relationship says Coach” , McGraw Hill. Tujuan utama dari Effective Coaching adalah sama dengan tujuan utama parenting – untuk menciptakan independence bagi semua karyawan dan individu. Sehingga Coaching is not an event, but the way of life (Coaching merupakan proses yang dapat membentuk gaya hidup Anda, bukan hanya sebuah tindakan atau kegiatan yang harus Anda lakukan). Beberapa alasan terbesar yang menjadi hambatan para Leaders atau Managers tidak melakukan Coaching adalah sbb: 1. Mereka tumbuh dan berkembang tidak melalui proses Coaching sehingga mereka tidak mengetahui tahapan dan cara dalam melakukannya – Tidak memiliki pengetahuan dan ilmu Coaching 2. Tidak memahami atau tidak memiliki tools untuk melakukan Coaching 3. Bahkan beberapa Leaders dan Managers menganggap Coaching merupakan kegiatan confrontation kepada team

Membentuk sebuah kebiasaan dan kemampuan baru juga kemauan baru bagi para Leaders dan Managers dalam mendampingi melakukan pengembangan untuk semua team dan karyawan dibawah koordinasinya, sehingga tidak hanya memimpin tetapi membuat perubahan dan membawa semua anggota team dan karyawan ke tempat yang sama sekali belum pernah mereka kunjungi sebelumnya didalam kehidupan dan karir mereka sebelumnya.
