January, 2001
a massive earthquake
occurred in Bhuj area of
Gujarat
Earthquake
Hundreds of people died
and thousands were injured
in this earthquake
People were trapped
under the debris.
Many buildings collapsed.
Rescue teams help people by:

Providing medical aid to the

Supplying food ,clothing and

like a table and hold on tightly, so
that it does not slip away.
Help the people injured in the
earthquake.
