• Penalties for improper behavior (cellphone disruptions,
plagiarism), late work, missing assignments.
• Readings
• How best to use class time.

Introducing Choice in the Classroom

  • 4. The How of Choice  Blackboard Storing materials  Open Educational Resources Finding multiple resources  Screencast-O-matic & Youtube Creating mini-lectures
  • 5. Examples 1. 1 Common reading; 1 find & report reading. 2. Let students design some of their assessments (with some reservations). 3. Menu of assignments. • Find 3-4 assignments that meet each objective. 4. Allow students to vote on: • Types of assessment • Penalties for improper behavior (cellphone disruptions, plagiarism), late work, missing assignments. • Readings • How best to use class time.
