Beowulf did so to entertain, but this also displays what they value most about a hero. Beowulf is courageous, gives back to his people, and inspires his
people.
Beowulf possesses unnatural strength and is not afraid of anything. He hears of Grendel plaguing Hrothgar's kingdom and people and he volunteers
to travel across the sea to the land of the Danes to find Grendel and stop his reign of terror. He proves his bravery when he declares that he will travel

Abstract Law enforcement agencies have relied on forensic art as one of their investigation methods for many years. The job of a forensic artist is
quite difficult because he or she must reconstruct an image of an individual based on just hearsay and memory from another individual. The purpose of
this study is to research forensic artists, also known as sketch artists, and their ability to draw up a suspect through the information provided by a
witness. Interviews on two different forensic artists provide insight of the duties and hardships a law enforcement sketch artist takes on. The process of
how law enforcement sketch artists are able to recreate the face of another individual, and how that picture can be a very useful piece of evidence for
crime reports will also be addressed throughout the study. This study is relevant to anthropology because it touches on how how an individual
perceives those around them and forensics itself is also one of the key topics discussed in biological anthropology.
Statement of the Research Question Sketch artists are capable of reconstructing the faces of suspects by either the detailed information (or lack of
detailed information) given to them by those who were at the scene of the crime, which is quite a challenging task to do. The overall questions I want

This is the fictional story of a strong friendship between two LSU football stars torn apart by racial unrest. Gil and Cal, "salt and pepper"
overcome racial tensions on the football field and become an inseparable pair. Back at home in Bayonne, LA, Gil's brother Beau, a racist farmer
on the Marshall Plantation has been murdered. When Gil hears of his brother's murder his friendship with Cal is compromised because of their
different races. Gil returns home to the plantation to find "A gathering of old men" sitting on the porch of the house with their shotguns, "It was a
wall, alright, but a wall twenty, thirty feet away from me. Not a wall of brick, stone, or wood, but a wall of old black men with shotguns, " (42), all
confessing to the murder, "'did everybody shoot?' She asked. 'We shot.' 'We kept the empty shells.' 'All number fives?' 'Number fives, '" (39). Even
though Gil is overcome with sorrow he begs with his father Fix, who is notorious around the community for his lynching and racist treatment towards
blacks, not to go and take revenge on the African American community. Fix in a sense agrees, but ultimately a shootout between the "gathering of old
men" and local whites takes place outside the house. This shootout leaves Charlie, the boy who murdered Beau, dead along with his shooter Luke

Biographical Sketch Charlotte Bronte was born in Thornton, Yorkshire in 1816, to Patrick and Maria Bronte. Maria died five years later and left the
care of her six children to her unpleasant aunt, Elizabeth Branwell. Within a few years, Charlotte's older sisters, Maria and Elizabeth, died from
tuberculosis due to a typhoid outbreak at the Cowan Bridge School. The school also largely represented the Lowood Institution in Bronte's novel, Jane
Eyre. Charlotte completely despised Cowan Bridge School, and she bashed the academy for its "harsh religious doctrine and unsanitary conditions"
(Shuttleworth). Bronte expresses her dreadful experience at Cowan Bridge School in Jane Eyre, where Jane also endures harsh treatment at the
