THE WAR FOR
INDEPENDENCE BEGINS

THE PATRIOTS VS THE BRITISH
ADVANTAGES FOR THE
PATRIOTS
The colonists had a
greater knowledge of
the territory they
defended.
The biggest advantage
was communications
and strong leadership.
They didn't have to wait
weeks for orders to
come across the
Atlantic.

Also another big advantage
was the French,they were
crucial to America,they also
did most of the work.
Americas other allies were
the Spanish and the Dutch.
