Certificate ratings provide guidelines for viewing different types of films based on their content. (Universal) ratings mean any age can view, while (Parental Guidance) suggest parental discretion for scenes that may disturb children. (12A) require children under 12 be accompanied by an adult due to potential sexual references. Higher ratings like (15) and (18) restrict viewing to older audiences as they may contain nudity, violence, and strong language inappropriate for younger viewers. Each level introduces new restrictions or requirements for viewing certain films based on their content.
