JRF – junior research fellow ( it is conducted at all India level by ICAR)
notification generally releases in February month of every year.
475 ICAR-Junior Research Fellowships for Postgraduate Studies [ICAR-JRF(PGS)]
In 20 major subject groups will be awarded for two years in Agricultural Universities
Question Paper for JRF-PG
There will be only one question paper in each major subject group consisting of
150 multiple-choice, objective type questions, and also 10 cross-matching type questions.
For each incorrect answer in MCQs , one mark will be deducted from the total score, while for
each incorrect cross-matching type sub-question/pairing, 0.2 marks will be deducted from the total score
Each agricultural university conducts their own entrance exam

Tamilnadu agricultural university - April
Orissa agricultural university - march
Punjab agricultural university - march
Anand agricultural university - march
Management courses :-
post graduate diploma in management(PGDM)

Agri clinics : Agri clinics are envisaged to provide expert services and advice to farmers
on cropping practices, technology dissemination, crop protection from pests & diseases,
market trends and prices of various crops in the markets and also clinical services for animal health
etc. which would enhance productivity of crops / animals.
Agribusiness Centres : Agribusiness Centres are envisaged to provide input supply, farm
equipment's on hire and other services. In order to enhance viability of the ventures, Agriculture
Graduates may also take up in agriculture and allied areas along with the Agri clinics/
