 Butene-1 is being used as Co monomer in Poly Ethylene
Process
 The Butene-1 Plant is designed to produce Butene-1 (Polymer
grade) required for downstream polyethylene Plant (LLDPE/
HDPE & Dedicated HDPE ).
 It would also produce some by-product, while producing
Butene-1 product.
 Mild operating conditions (low temperature 50 – 53 deg C,
low operating pressure)
