• THIS PROVIDES SCHOOL IN THE UNITED STATES
WITH WORLD CLASS TEACHERS WHO TEACH A
NEW GENERATION OF STUDENTS FOR SUCCESS IN
GLOBALLY INTEGRATED WORLD.
• TEACHERS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM
WORKS IN U.S FOR UP TO 3 YEARS AND RETURN
HME TO THEIR COUNTRY TO SHARE
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCES WITH STUDENTS

MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN
THE UNITED STATES AND COUNTRIES
AROUND THE WORLD.

YEAR OR SEMESTER DIRECT
EXCHANGE WITH A COUNTERPART
IN ANOTHER COUNTRY TEACHING
THE SAME SUBJECT AT THE SAME

  • 8. 1. VISITING INTERNATIONAL FACULTY PROGRAM (VIF) - IS THE UNITED STATES’ LARGEST CULTURAL PROGRAM FOR TEACHERS AND SCHOOLS. IT IS DEDICATED TO TRANSFORMING LIVES THROUGH INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE OF TEACHERS.
  • 9. • THIS PROVIDES SCHOOL IN THE UNITED STATES WITH WORLD CLASS TEACHERS WHO TEACH A NEW GENERATION OF STUDENTS FOR SUCCESS IN GLOBALLY INTEGRATED WORLD. • TEACHERS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM WORKS IN U.S FOR UP TO 3 YEARS AND RETURN HME TO THEIR COUNTRY TO SHARE INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCES WITH STUDENTS AND COLLEAGUES.
  • 10. 2. FULBRIGHT TEACHER EXCHANGE PROGRAM -FULBRIGHT TEACHER EXCHANGE PROGRAM HAS HELPED NEARLY 23,000 TEACHERS AND SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS TO PROMOTE MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES AND COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD.
  • 11. •THIS OPPORTUNITY INVOLVES A YEAR OR SEMESTER DIRECT EXCHANGE WITH A COUNTERPART IN ANOTHER COUNTRY TEACHING THE SAME SUBJECT AT THE SAME LEVEL.

INTER-AFRICAN TEACHER EXCHANGE -THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS PROGRAM ARE TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITY FOR AFRICAN TEACHERS TO LEARN FROM TEACHING ENVIRONMENT IN OTHER AFRICAN COUNTRIES. -THIS ALSO AIMED TO EXTEND EXPERIENCES AND WIDEN THE HORIZON OF AFRICAN TEACHERS BY ENCOURAGING EXCHANGE VISITS TO COUNTRIES OUTSIDE THE AFRICA AS WELL.
  • 13. 4. CANADIAN EDUCATORS EXCHANGE -IS A NON-PROFIT FOUNDATION WHICH HANDLES BOTH STUDENT AND EDUCATOR EXCHANGES. - THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF EXCHANGES FOR A POWERFUL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
  • 14. TWO KINDS OF EXCHANGES ONE YEAR EXCHANGES - ENABLES TEACHERS IN ALBERTA TO SWAP THEIR JOBS WITH TEACHERS IN COUNTRIES SUCH AS, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, UNITED KINGDOM AND U.S FOR A PERIOD OF 1 YEAR.
  • 15. SHORT-TERM EXCHANGES • THIS EXCHANGES WHICH OCCUR DURING THE SPRING AND SUMMER HOLIDAYS, ENABLES THE TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS. TO JOB SHADOW WITH THE COUNTERPART IN ANOTHER COUNTRY.
  • 16. 5. GLOBAL TEACHERS MILLENNIUM AWARDS -THIS PROGRAM IS LIMITED ONLY TO PARTICIPATING COUNTRIES, IT IS IMPORTANT TO LEARN THAT THE GLOBAL TEACHER EXCHANGE PROGRAM CONTRIBUTES TO THE QUALITY OF TEACHERS WORLDWIDE.
