Success: Graduation

• End of first year test results are positively associated with
  retention and graduation
• The average grade received in both credit and developmental
  courses in first semester is positively associated with both
  retention and graduation.
• The average grade received in both credit and developmental
  courses in first semester is positively associated with both
  retention and graduation.
• Probability of graduating in 6 years is higher for students who
  pass one skill test by the end of the 1st year of enrollment vs.
  those who passed no skills test during the same time period.

Editor's Notes

  • #14 The goal was to integrate the schools services and bring them INTO our First Year Seminar classes. Bringing the services to the student, embedding supports. The challenge was how to build a hybrid model and mesh all of these different stakeholders into a working model.
