To ensure that all students have the

We needed to ensure that students were
being supported in an effective manner,
with a consistent approach ensuring that
interventions are timely and appropriate.

6. Make Use of Data
We make use of data to assist with
monitoring and tracking:
Attendance System;
Exam Boards (Degree Results);
Progression Boards (HN/FE Results);
3 Year Trend KPI data visibility with an
indicator of the current position
7. Contact
Various methods of contacting students:
One to one discussion with the PAT;
One to one discussion with a Student
Services Support Member;
Text messaging; letters (auto generate)
Attendance concerns;
Performance concerns
…..keeping track of our KPIs at the same time!
8. Success
Key to success is the involvement of
teams (academic and support) from
various college areas working
together seamlessly to ensure these
timely interventions are effective.
