• Note inserted for ‘Advanced / non-advanced programme’
that informs that both qualifications; Advanced Higher
Qualification Aim - Code KA and SVQ/NVQ Qualification Aim
- Code 28 at SCQF level 7, these should be classified as FE
(non-advanced) and will remain to be reported as FE (non-
advanced) for education level and performance indicator
reporting.

Field.
• Addition to Code list C, ‘Source of finance of fee for student’

Code AP to identify EU nationals who have been granted
‘Pre-settled status’ as part of the UK’s ‘EU Settlement
scheme’ and Code AQ to identify EU nationals who have
been granted ‘Settled status’ as part of the UK’s ‘EU

SFC Update on FES 2021-22 Revisions

FES 2021-22 revisions FES 1 • Note inserted for ‘Advanced / non-advanced programme’ that informs that both qualifications; Advanced Higher Qualification Aim - Code KA and SVQ/NVQ Qualification Aim - Code 28 at SCQF level 7, these should be classified as FE (non-advanced) and will remain to be reported as FE (non- advanced) for education level and performance indicator reporting.

FES 2021-22 revisions FES 2 • Removal of the requirement to provide ‘SCQF Level code’ Field. • Addition to Code list C, ‘Source of finance of fee for student’ the Code 56 – ‘Fee waiver – Short full-time (SFT) course where the student is eligible for bursary funding’. • Addition to Code list N, ‘Groups of Specific Interest’ the Code AP to identify EU nationals who have been granted ‘Pre-settled status’ as part of the UK’s ‘EU Settlement scheme’ and Code AQ to identify EU nationals who have been granted ‘Settled status’ as part of the UK’s ‘EU Settlement scheme’.

  1. SFC ran the first of what we hope to be a series of Scotland tertiary sector BI ‘show and tell’ events on the afternoon of Friday 23 April. Over 100 attendees Our hope is to establish a tertiary sector BI community in Scotland where we can learn from developers in the sectors, and vice versa.   On the day, there were five demos of BI tools: JISC will demonstrate a Tableau dashboard they have developed for HEFCW to monitor University performance in Wales against a suite of national measures Strathclyde and St. Andrews Universities will demonstrate Qlikview apps they have built for internal purposes at their respective institutions SFC will demonstrate the National Articulation Dashboard and College Outcome Agreement measures Qlikview app.   Our hope is that we can take inspiration from what we see, and also learn more about end-to-end processes developed and the challenges faced by developers externally.
