This document summarizes a book that reports experimental results on flow and heat transfer in horizontal rectangular microchannels. The book focuses on presenting experimental data for single-phase flow and heat transfer characteristics in rectangular microchannels. The single-phase fluid flow results showed no deviation from friction factor theory for three different hydraulic diameters. Additionally, the single-phase heat transfer results demonstrated that smaller test sections yield higher heat transfer coefficients, though hydraulic diameter had insignificant effect on Nusselt number versus Reynolds number trends. The author is a lecturer at Mataram University who received their PhD from Brunel University London in 2013.
