This document presents an experimental investigation of heat transfer in a cross flow heat exchanger with waved baffle plates, utilizing FloEFD software for thermal analysis. The study compares various materials, mass flow rates, and tube diameters to determine the optimal configuration for effective heat transfer, concluding that aluminum 6061 and copper with a medium mass flow rate of 5 kg/s and a tube diameter of 14 mm yield the best performance. The research highlights the significance of design factors such as material conductivity, tube dimensions, and flow rates in enhancing the efficiency of heat exchangers.
