positions such as Patrol Leader, Community Outreach Coordinator, Instructor, and Junior Assistant
Scoutmaster. I planned local camping trips and high adventure trips to peaks 3,000 miles away from
home. I met with local conservation group members to develop goals for stabilizing community trails
through wetlands; then designed and built boardwalks to complete community sustainability goals.
Another activity benefitting group goal advancement through individual achievement, is year round
club swimming and varsity swimming at my high school. Setting individual and group goals gives
experience for later life cooperation in the work place. I have pride in achieving my personal swim
goals, but greater pride as a member of my high school and club teams. I plan to continue to swim for
fitness, but now I have set goals in another aspect of life that interests

The Current Status Of Women
6.1 Scope of the chapter
This chapter provides a review and summarises the research findings, as well as draws conclusions
with regards to the research aim and objectives. The limitations of the study are then outlined,
followed by recommendations for the industry for improvement, before recommendations are made
for future research in order to development the subject.
6.2 Revising of Research Objectives and Evaluation of Hypothesis The following research objectives,
aimed to achieve in this research, as listed below:
1. To analyse the current status of women in construction and identify barriers leading to the under
representation of women in sector.
2. To test top five important barriers and identify potential solutions to any recognised barriers.
3. To examine and evaluate the role of current policies introduced by the construction industry and
government in changing the current practices.
4. To propose changes and make recommendations to support recruitment, retention and career
development of women in construction.
The following sections present a list of findings and significations in accordance with each objective
set above.
6.2.1 Objective 1: To analyse the current status of women in construction and identify barriers leading
to the under representation of women in sector.
This objective has been accomplished in Chapter 3 Policy and Practice on Gender differentiation in
Construction sector. The literature review suggested that women are still underrepresented

Abstract
Social media is an inherent part of current Internet and used by more than a billion individuals
worldwide. They provide opportunities to share ideas and interact with others, from old friends to
strangers. In spite of the fact that social media has changed individuals lives with unnumbered
benefits, many disadvantages, to users, are hidden under the superficial advantages, including
decreasing health levels, declining communication skills, breaking interpersonal relationships and

In the article Weight problems take a hefty toll on body and mind (n. d.), the author states that obesity
is harmful to almost any part of health, from reproductive and respiratory function to brains. It raises
the risks of several debilitating, and lethal diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, and some
cancers. From these points, it is not laborious to recognize that social media is decreasing net citizens
health levels indirectly. Social media also leads to mental problems, especially to teenagers. Teenagers
who engage with social media during the night could be damaging their sleep and increasing their risk
of anxiety and depressive illness. Teenagers talked about the pressure they felt to make themselves
available, and the resulting anxiety if they did not respond immediately to texts or posts(Udorie, J).
Not only does social media cut down health levels, but it also weakens communication skills. Ali
