Such persons eat less and feel full with less food than

5. Anorexia Nervosa
An emotional disorder, characterized by an obsessive desire to lose weight by refusing to eat or by self-
starvation to achieve weight loss
A common problem among young women in industrialized society who idolize a thin body and perceive
weight loss as a sign of achievement
Normally develops a body image distortion that make them feel fat and hence desperate to lose weight
6. Bulimia Nervosa
Bulimia nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by binge
eating followed by purging. Binge eating refers to eating a
large amount of food in a short amount of time whereas
purging refers to attempts to rid oneself of the food
consumed.
The forcing of vomiting may result in breakdown of the
teeth. Bulimia is frequently associated with other mental
disorders such as depression, anxiety, and problems with
drugs or alcohol. There is also a higher risk of suicide or
self-harm.
7. Due to binge eating, a major disorder develops which is
known as "Overweight and obesity".
Obesity is a condition of excess body weight, i.e., when
person is 20% or more above the Ideal Body Weight.
The term overweight refers to person with body weight 10-
20% in excess of ideal weight.
