One of my greatest field trips ever was on a boat ride to Catalina Island. It consisted of a three day
overnight trip to the beautiful Island. My Dad and I woke up at 4:35 in the morning just to get to
school on time to load up the bus. On the way to school, my dad and I stopped at three different stores
to make sure we had enough food, and supplies for the boat ride. I was tired, but super excited! Once

store. My sister would like an easier solution for her problem. She decided she wanted an automated
system, but she told us that she has a very small budget. So she asked my mother and I for any advice
we can give for her store.
I mentioned to my sister that she should try using a Universal Product Code (UPC) which is a great

Now that she has the software to create her bar codes she is going to need a printer as well to print off

The ongoing maintenance that will be required for this process is that for every item my sister owns
