PLOT or STORYLINE
 Short definition: Plot is a narrative term
defined as the events that make up a story,
particularly: as they relate to one another in
a pattern or in a sequence

 In my own words: Plot is a literary term used
to describe the events that make up a story
or the main part of a story
 My example: There are two girls who are best
friends, one of them have a boyfriend. One
day the girl found that her boyfriend is having
an affair, and the girl found that the other
woman of his boyfriend is her best friend.

 Short definition: turning point is a point in time

CLIMAX
 Short definition: the final, culminating element or

 Short definition: Falling action is defined as the

PLOT or STORYLINE  Short definition: Plot is a narrative term defined as the events that make up a story, particularly: as they relate to one another in a pattern or in a sequence  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plot_(narrative)  In my own words: Plot is a literary term used to describe the events that make up a story or the main part of a story  My example: There are two girls who are best friends, one of them have a boyfriend. One day the girl found that her boyfriend is having an affair, and the girl found that the other woman of his boyfriend is her best friend. 1a

TURNING POINT  Short definition: turning point is a point in time when something happens that causes a shift or an irrevocable change in direction.  http://www.yourdictionary.com/turning-point  In my own words: a point at which something changes direction  My example: when the friendship of the two become nothing because of one boy. 3

CLIMAX  Short definition: the final, culminating element or event in a series; highest point, as of interest or excitement  http://www.yourdictionary.com/climax  In my own words: climax is the most intense or highest point of the movie.  My example: when the original girlfriend confront her best friend is she was the other woman of his boyfriend. 4

FALLING ACTION  Short definition: Falling action is defined as the parts of a story after the climax and before the very end.  http://www.yourdictionary.com/falling-action  In my own words: The events of a dramatic or narrative plot following the climax.  My example: when the girlfriend of the boy is thinking if she will forgive her best friend and her best friend or not. 5
  • 9. RESOLUTION  Short definition: The definition of a resolution is a plan for something to be done.  http://www.yourdictionary.com/resolution  In my own words: an answer or solution to something.  My example: both of the girls have to forget and let go the boy or their friendship. 6
