PLOT or STORYLINE
 It is a narrative term defined as the events
that make up a story.
webster.com/dictionary/story%20line
 It is the sequence of events in that occur in a
story.
 My example: There is a friend of mine named
Faye who I had known for years. Our family
were close to each other and she's a
schoolmate of mine. But the day comes
when we fight each other for a long time.

MY OWN PLOT
Source: Cite your own work, using APA format citation.
1c
RISING ACTION
 A related series of incidents in a literary plot that
build toward the point of greatest interest.
 hyperlinkhttp://dictionary.reference.com/brows
e/rising+action
 Is the portion of the story where hindrances
stand in the way of the protagonist
accomplishing his goal.
 My example: We started not talking and she
even forget me because of her boyfriend. All of
her attention was always with the guy.
2
TURNING POINT
 It is a point at which a decisive change takes
place, a critical point or crisis.
%20point?s=t
 An instant when the progression of events is
changed.
 My example: I was shocked by the news that
time, my mother approached me and said that
Faye would migrate to other country.
3
CLIMAX
 Is the moment of greatest emotional tension.
This is perhaps the most important part of a story.
Without the climax, the story will just keep
building up without any confrontation.
 study.com/academy/lesson/climax-in-literature-
definition-examples.html
 My example: From then on, we had no
communication, totally none even in social
networking sites. She's not responding to my
messages and that was the worst part.
4
FALLING ACTION
 It is the sequence of events that follow the
climax and end in the resolution. This is in
contrast to the rising action which leads up to
the plot’s climax.
ms/g/fallingAction.htm
 It gives us satisfaction, it is happens after the
main problem of the story has been solved.
 My example: Several months had passed, one
day I was shocked that she came back home
and visited me in our house. We started talking.
5
RESOLUTION
 It is when finally they reach a solution to the
predicament, or reach a point where they can
go no farther in trying to reach a solution, and
fail, the story has achieved.
ms/g/resolution.htm
 It is where a certain part of the story is already
resolved and worked out.
 My example: Past is already past. After all of her
explanation, I forgive her because there's
nothing on holding grudges.

New concepts learned
 I’ve learned a lot in this activity, it’s really
associated in our real lives. Before, I really
hate conflicts because it seems that it is a
burden in everyone’s life. But now, it’s totally
different. If you will see the outcome and
how you get through of that, you should be
glad because in every conflict that we will
encounter there’s a treasure lesson to be
learn.
NEW INPUTS
1
This reminds me of…
 Myself, honestly speaking I’m weak person
when it comes in problems. I always tend
to cry instead of finding ways to solve
those obstructions. I can’t imagine that
through this activity, I was able to
overcome my weaknesses.
CONNECTIONS
2
Usefulness in real situations
 We will be able to know the step by step
process in our lives. On how to deal with
the situations that we might encounter.
We will know how to manipulate and
have a decision in able to have a good
resolution in the end of the hindrances
and obstacles in every chapter of our
lives.
