The Avaya Aura Suite Licensing consists of 3 packages - Foundation, Mobility, and Collaboration suites - that simplify UC licensing. Customers can mix and match licenses in any quantity or combination. The Foundation Suite provides core telephony and messaging with desktop clients. The Mobility Suite adds mobility applications and messaging access. The Collaboration Suite includes all previous features plus video and audio/web conferencing.

The new Avaya Aura Suite Licensing consists of 3 licensing packages that will simplify
how customers purchase and channels sell Avaya UC applications. Customers will have
enhanced flexibility to meet user-specific needs by being able to “Mix and Match” license
types in any quantity or combination per site or enterprise-wide. They will also continue to
have the option to purchase individual applications a la carte. All the licenses are
administered per user except as noted.
 1) Foundation Suite is positioned for campus users using desktop PCs
and phones and offers robust SIP communications, IM & Presence. It
includes Foundation UC clients that enable Click to Call and Desktop
Video now enabled with the Suite License. The Avaya Client Applications
(ACA ) for Microsoft OCS/Lync integration is a included to support a
strategy to integrate and surround (limit) Microsoft’s collaboration play to
Instant Messaging and Presence on Windows desktops. The Foundation
Suite is a single-tier license that bundles the Avaya Aura infrastructure
licenses into one SIP core purchase.
 2) Mobility Suite is positioned for roaming campus users, road warriors
and telecommuters with secure VPN-less mobility and advanced mobile
messaging capabilities. The Mobility Suite License builds on the
Foundation Suite with mobility application licenses and adds Avaya Aura
Messaging to provide access via email with text to speech messaging.
 3) Collaboration Suite is positioned for power collaborators who need
robust collaboration capabilities including industry leading HD video, plus
audio and web conferencing. This bundle includes all the elements in
Foundation Suite and Mobility Suites plus both Avaya Aura Conferencing
and Scopia Desktop & Mobile for Aura Collaboration Suite. The
Collaboration Suite is a great value, priced approximately 25% less than
Mobility Suite plus the a la carte conferencing applications.

Mixing Licenses
 Customer can mix/match new license types –
Foundation, Mobility and Collaboration licenses can co-
exist at the same site/sold-to. Customers will be required
to have the same common software maintenance and
Upgrade Advantage for the mix and match Suite
Licenses at the same site.
 New Foundation, Mobility or Collaboration licenses
cannot be mixed with SE or EE
