My Summer in Chicago
I couldn t help but to feel anxious and excited. It was my first time being in such a
vast city and I couldn t wait to explore it. The time was near the end of July, this is
when my dad usually enjoys taking our summer vacations, primarily outside of our
state to somewhere else new and exciting. That summer my dad decided to take a
week long road trip and visit, Wisconsin Dells, Chicago, St. Louis, and Madison. My
dad said he wanted to show my sisters and I all the adventures he did in Chicago
when he was my age. I had felt joyful about the trip, I could not wait to see all the
buildings and walk down the Navy Pier. To tell the truth, I was more excited to visit

Critique Of The Cadian Ball
During the late 1800s, many new ideas came with the industrial revolution. With
these ideas came thoughts on how to change the way our sociality was working.
Writers especially brought out the opinions of they these radical ideas, by writing
and spreading these ideas. At the Cadian Ball fails to advocate a change in the
social system, by mixing races and classes, but at the same time, and supports the
norm of marring someone of your own class, by have all four of the main characters
marry into the same class.
Within the story all the characters speak the same language, giving everyone an equal
ground, showing that everyone has something in common. During the story the
narrator tells us, They belonged to the younger generation, so preferred to speak

not include demographics/audience identification. They only said that their
demographic was the consumers. They needed to be more specific when stating who

that they may have or if it even concerns them or threatens their campaign.

To help bring awareness to their campaign Hidden Valley made use of their
Facebook page and eBay when starting their campaign. The Taste Not Waste
campaign got the attention of many bloggers and news sources like MSNBC and
the Washington Post which is a big deal. People were even posting recipes on
Pinterest for ways to use the unlovable fruits and vegetables.
Hidden Valley created limited edition bottles to help bring awareness to the
problem and donate the proceeds to support Great Nation Eats. The bottles were
sold only on eBay where people could bid in order to receive the bottle. I don t feel
as if Hidden Valley really utilized or considered their customers when they came to
the decision to only sell on eBay. I think they could have raised more money and
awareness and even had more success with the campaign if they would have sold the
limited edition bottles in stores rather than just on eBay. They did not consider how
many more people they could have reached with this campaign. They really limited
their reach and did not consider their offline clientele when they planned the

butcher a typical profession? It can t be because the meat from a butcher s kill gets

in other countries. For example, in America killing a cow is simply considered
making hamburgers. However, in India, cows are sacred creatures and killing one is
considered extremely evil. Even in your own household you can notice the strange
