Lisu, live in the foothills and mountains that separate southwestern China from

documentary, Bridge of Winds, which followed the daily lives of the Lisu people

The Monarch Butterfly is the most known butterfly because of its colored wings that
warns its predators that it is poisonous. It is found throughout all of North America.
The Monarch Butterfly can t fly with a body temperature less than 86 degrees ,so
they flap their wings and sit in the sun in order to keep warm. The milkweed is the
Monarch s main food source. The milkweed has many positive effects on the
Monarch Butterfly. For example, the butterfly lays the eggs on the plants ,and the
milkweed gives the poisonous taste to the predators when the caterpillar eats it.
The Monarch lay their eggs on the milkweed plant. They usually lay one egg on
