2. The genre of the music video i am creating is R&B. I think that
the target audience for this genre are both males and females
from the ages of around 13-25 approx. In many music videos
of this genre, expensive objects are shown being used/worn
by the artists on numerous occasions, also the way the artists
are dressed (especially male) are all very similar to each
other. Women usually are wearing revealing clothing and the
men are portrayed to be desirable. Having attractive people in
these videos make the audience enjoy watching it more.
3. This is relatable to younger people in society as materialism is more
important today and urban street-wear is quite popular too.
According to the Jicnar Scale shown left, The categories this
audience would likely fit in would be D and E, as within these
categories, it is most likely that younger people are in the lower
sections of the scale. such as being unemployed or doing casual
work, therefore they would have more time on there hands to
watch/listen to this genre of music.
4. RESEARCH- MY RECORDED INTERVIEW
I conducted an interview on several peers in sixth form. The question
was what they would expect in an R&B music video, I seemed to have
