The survey results showed that the target audience for the music video is 16-25 year olds who listen to indie/indie-rock music. They typically watch music videos a couple times a week on YouTube and TV. Key features they expect are people playing instruments, indie clothing, and unusually placed things. Storylines, colors, and things relating to the lyrics most appeal to them. While preferences for narratives are split, using one could help understand the lyrics. All respondents preferred multiple locations over a single location in music videos.
