My media product targets male and female teenagers aged 13-19 who listen to dubstep music. Specifically, it mainly targets male teenagers of this age range. The target audience also includes people of mixed ethnicity who are typically in college or working. Examples shown are of mixed gender teenagers aged 15-19 at a party, dressed casually and enjoying themselves, representing the dubstep genre and lifestyle.

your media product?

2. My media product is based on the dubstep
genre. The type of people who are interested in
this genre is mostly male teenagers. Female
teenagers are also interested in this genre
however mainly males aged 13-19. It is a mixed
ethnicity and the majority of the teenagers who
listen to dubstep music are either in college or
working.

3. In this image the people fall into a different category of ethnicity,
which is also in my target audience. They look like they are
having a good time and are wearing casual clothing as if they are
at a party. They are also teenagers within the age of my target
audience.

4. This is one example of my target audience, their
clothing represents the genre of my product as the
girl is dressed in a black dress and has clearly done
her hair and makeup. The boy is wearing
smart, casual clothing. They also look like they are
around 15-19 and this falls into the age of my
target audience. The mise en scene also gives the
interpretation that they are at a party of some
kind.

5. In this picture, it is a mixed gender and they look slightly older,
around 17-19. You can see alcohol in the background which shows
they may be drunk.
They are both wearing smart clothing and the boy has a glow stick
around his neck which shows he may going to a concert or party.
They have both done their hair and the girl has done her make up
which shows they may be interested in my products genre of
music.
