Who would be the
audience for your
 media product?
Audience Profile
The gender of our audience
would be more males then
females as the victim is female,
so many women would be put
of the idea of watching it
especially feminists. The age of
the audience would be of
students around the age of 15 -
22 onwards as they are then
mature enough to watch
unpleasant scenes. The
audience will probably be on
an annual income or if they are
students, they would be living
of the pocket money that their
parents give in order to watch
the film.
Audience Profile
If students, the audience will
either be living at home, so the
expense of watching the film in
the cinema will come out of
their parents pocket, however
if the students are older and
so in university, their grant
money will have to cover it,
though some students may
need this money for their
books and things relevant to
their learning, and so may wait
for the film to come out on
DVD or on demand as it is
cheaper. Some students may
have an occupation of being in
retail as that is what many
young people go in to.
Audience Profile

The ethnicity of the
audience will be mostly of a
black background, as they
are mostly represented
within the film, they will have
buying habits of watching
films perhaps monthly if
young students living at
home, or maybe every 3- 4
months if they are at
university as they have to
make sure they have
enough money for education
first before their social life.
Demographics

The audience will be of a student
demographic, many will be
unemployed as young people
don’t have jobs if they are at
school, however those at
university will have a better
income and will be
employed, some of a older age of
perhaps 22 or 23 may have the
demographic of junior managers
or nurses, trying to get into a
certain field of work, that will give
them enough money to have a
house of their own and be
independent.
Psychographics

The psychographics will be
some mainstreamers, who are
used to watching crime drama
films, and are prepared for
what is to come as these are
strong individuals who are
around the film watching scene
quite regularly and will be
familiar with crime drama a a
genre. Other psychographics
would be explorers, those who
are looking for something new
to watch, as they enjoy being
different and seeing what
different genre’s of film have to
offer.
