Title: Case Study Report on a Project implementing Value Management in the
Construction Industry.
You are to prepare a VM study report on a project of your choice where a Value
Management study has been conducted by your value management team for
presentation to your client.
Reporting Format of Case Study
A. Introduction – Primary purpose of VM study
B. Executive summary of project under study
 A brief description of project
 A brief summary of problem
 Type of VM study undertaken
C. The result of Functional Analysis or any VM tools and techniques
D. Sketches before and after design showing proposed changes of design (if
any);
E. Technical data supporting the selection of alternatives
F. Cost Plan/Cost Analysis/Cost Study
G. Action plan – preparation of action plan to implement the accepted
recommendations and to monitor the progress.

Submission Format: One hard copy of Case Study Report
: One hard copy and one soft copy of Presentation.
