Perhaps one of the biggest challenges for mega construction
project ‘asset-intensive industry’ is how to effectively manage all
different types of assets without creating a huge management
workload that erodes the bottom line.

spare part availability, procurement planning and inventory visibility
Cons:
• Still there is a room for unexpected/exceptional breakdowns
• Equipment might undergo maintenance “down” while it is fit
