This study evaluated the performance of indigenous guinea fowls (Numida meleagris) fed different frequencies of direct-fed microbial (DFM) applications over 30 weeks. Results showed that daily DFM applications significantly improved feed consumption, daily weight gain, egg weight, and serum biochemical composition compared to control groups. The findings will inform future agricultural initiatives aimed at enhancing food security and income for smallholder farmers in Africa, supported by ongoing research partnerships.
