Robotics is a branch of science that deals with Mechanical, Electrical and Software fields. Robots are the machines that are used in our day-to-day to life to reduce men power and work accurately without any distortions. Robots can be classified into two different sections basing upon their skills as Automated and Manual. Obstacle detector is a Automated robot which itself recognizes the obstacle in its path and moves in free direction. Robot detects the obstacle by using two IR Sensors placed in front.
The IR sensors are placed on left and right side of the robot through which continuous Infrared radiation is emitted for detection of obstacles in the path. These IR Sensors are connected to a controlling element AT89c51 µc. When a obstacle is placed in the path of robot IR beam is reflected to the sensor from the obstacle. On detecting obstacle in the path sensor sends 0 volts to µc. This 0 voltage is detected by Microcontroller which avoids the obstacle by taking left or right turn. Similarly if the sensor sends +5v to Microcontroller, the Microcontroller assumes it as clear path and makes the robot to move in straight.
Two motors namely right motor and left motor are connected to Motor driver IC (L293D). L293D is interface with Microcontroller. Microcontroller sends logic 0 & logic 1 as per the programming to driver IC which makes motors to rotate in clockwise and anticlockwise direction. Wheels attached to the motors rotate accordingly with the motor shaft causing in the moment of the robot by wheels. In front portion of the robot a free wheel is attached to move the robot easily in any direction as per the requirement.
A 12Volts DC battery is attached to the circuit. As the microcontroller and sensors requires only 5v, set of resistors and capacitors are used to supply 5v DC to them. Power Management System is not maintained in the circuit as the battery can be removed after the usage of robot. So it does not cause any loss in the power of battery.
This type of robots has multiple applications in various fields. They can be used to know the strength of the opposite army in defense system. They can be used as floor and wall cleaners. They are used in automated GPS vehicles to calculate the moment of the vehicle overhead. These robots are easy to construct and cheaper in cost with long durability.
Increasing Safety Bomb Disposal Missions, It Is a Robot which gives the Safety to the Humans /Soldiers by using its sensing Technology in Battlefields.

Metal detectors are devices that use electromagnetic fields to detect and signal the presence of metallic or ferromagnetic objects. Metal detectors vary in their effective operating ranges and the amounts and types of metals necessary to generate a signal. They may be fixed, as in the familiar airport walk-through detectors, or hand-held and portable. Uses include sport (finding coins, jewellery and artefacts), prospecting, industrial and security. Metal detectors have been used to identify metal objects placed into or upon patients either therapeutically, through injury or ingestion, or purely diagnostically. This article reviews the history of metal detection in the practice of medicine and provides an overview of the utility of metal detectors in current diagnostic practice. Non-diagnostic, medically related uses include scanning of hospital patients and visitors for weapons and of entrances to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) centres to prevent flying metal objects and subsequent injury.[1]. The simplest form of a metal detector consists of an oscillator producing an alternating current that passes through a coil producing an alternating magnetic field. If a piece of electrically conductive metal is close to the coil, eddy currents will be induced in the metal, and this produces an alternating magnetic field of its own. If another coil is used to measure the magnetic field (acting as a magnetometer), the change in the magnetic field due to the metallic object can be detected. A metal detector is not an instrument that detects energy emissions from radioactive materials. A metal detector simply detects its presence and reports this. Metal detectors are fascination machines.

Introduction
A robot is an electro-mechanical device that can perform autonomous or preprogrammed tasks. A robot may act under the direct control of a human (eg. the robotic arm of the space shuttle) or autonomously under the control of a programmed computer. Robots may be used to perform tasks that are too dangerous or difficult for humans to implement directly (e.g. nuclear waste clean up) or may be used to automate repetitive tasks that can be performed with more precision by a robot than by the employment of a human (e.g. automobile production.)

Abstract:
This project aims at designing a robot, which has freedom of movement along all the 3 axes and its motion is controlled by means of wheels. The user can control the movements using a Cellphone from a remote place. The system is made more useful by introducing artificial intelligence to it. By artificial intelligence, we mean designing the robot is such a manner that in situation which require decision making, the robot identifies the presence of the obstacle, alerts the user and moreover awaits instruction from the user for the further action. Other condition, which the robot can determine, is presence of fire. I.e., high temperature and presence of metals in vicinity.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.

3. Abstract
In today’s life technology plays very important role. Day by day manual works are
reduced. Many companies use robots to make their products effectively and
efficiently. In this project we are making a robot which is used to transfer the live
images on Smart phone by using Wi-Fi. We are also controlling the movements of
our bot by using radio frequency communication. This project uses ATMEGA 328
PU as its controller. Also a wireless camera with voice is interfaced to the kit.
We are also using metal detector circuit to detect metal.
4. Project Overview
We get the idea of this project from a Bollywood movie “Raju Chacha”, in which the
children of Mr. Rishi Kapoor in that movie uses a car which has a ability to transfer live
video in a long distance, a camera put on that car for transfer live video.
For our Major project we are making same car as a robot for the same work. In this project
we are giving the facility to the user to see , what happened in 100m area. It gives the live
video on the user android mobile phone by using Wi-Fi. This robot is also send to that type
of area where human being cannot able to go. This robot prototype for the “Path Finder”.
This robot is used for security purpose, mines detection and surveillance applications.

14. Metal Detector
Principle
The operation of metal detectors is
based upon the principles of
electromagnetic induction. Metal
detectors contain one or more
inductor coils that are used to interact
with metallic elements on the ground.
The eddy currents induce their own
magnetic field, which generates an
opposite current in the coil, which
induces a signal indicating the
presence of metal.
A metal detector is a portable
electronic device which penetrates
the ground magnetically in order to
find traces of metal. This metal
could either be discarded pieces of
aluminum or valuable coins,
jewelry and other buried treasures.

19. IP Camera
An Internet protocol camera, or IP camera, is a type of digital video camera commonly employed
for surveillance, and which, unlike analog closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras, can send and
receive data via a computer network and the Internet. Although most cameras that do this
are webcams, the term "IP camera" or "netcam" is usually applied only to those used for
surveillance.
Advantages
Two-way audio via a single network cable allows users to communicate with what they are seeing
(e.g. Gas Station clerk assisting a customer on how to use the pay pumps)
Flexibility: IP cameras are able to function on a wireless network .
Remote accessibility: live video from selected cameras can be viewed from any computer,
anywhere, and also from many mobile smartphones and other devices.
21. Working of project
The RF module consists of 434 MHz RF transmitter & receiver for making bot wireless. IP Camera is
mounted on robot. We have to choose the direction of the remote by pressing respective switches
which are connected to encoder. The data transmitted to RF receiver through RF transmitter. The
receiver module receives the transmitted data and passes the data to the microcontroller. The
microcontroller changes the direction of the robot according to the specified command. As it moves in
the specified direction, if it encounters any person entering into the secured premises camera notices
this and it gives live image through smartphone where the entire view of the predefined location can
be viewed all the time. It can also detect the motion and transmit audio. We have also used metal
detector circuit in the project. When metal or coin comes in the range then it gives alert through
buzzer.
22. Application
1. Surveillance appliances
With the help of microcontroller, remote and other intelligent control technologies embedded in
the project offer the end user to easily access greater control of their products. The use of a camera
helps to view the location under control. the project’s various surveillance appliances include the
monitoring of the robot and thereby the view of the camera so as to observe the location being
detected.
23. 1. Longer range.
2. No line of sight is needed.
3. It is not sensitive to the light.
4. It is not much sensitive to the environmental changes and weather conditions.
5. Not blocked by common materials: It can penetrate most solids and pass through walls.
Advantage
24. Disadvantage
1. Higher cost than infrared.
2. Federal Communications Commission(FCC) licenses required for some products.
3. Lower speed: data rate transmission is lower than wired and infrared transmission.
4. Interference: communication devices using similar frequencies - wireless phones,
scanners, wrist radios and personal locators can interfere with transmission.
25. The implementation of RF based robot is done successfully. The communication is
properly done without any interference between different modules in the design. Design
is done to meet all the specifications and requirements. Continuously reading the
commands from the transmitter and change the direction of the robot accordingly and
also monitor the output wireless. The mechanism is controlled by the microcontroller. It
can be concluded that the design implemented in the present work provide portability,
flexibility and the data transmission is also done with low power consumption.
Conclusion
