It is truly astonishing how much we, as teens in the 21st century, take for granted. We go

Leedy, LaLonde, and Runk (2003) found that their data supported and built on the findings of other

The Miramar Airshow
For this assignment for the class, I decided attend the Miramar Airshow. I attended the airshow
with my mother who has not been there in a very long time. I went on September 23, 2016, from
noon to 3PM airshow. Usually, I always go to the airshow on Saturday or Sunday, but decided to
go Friday because I knew that most people were at work and the crowd would be less busy.
There were people from young kids all the way to adults that came out to the show. Throughout
the show, there were so many sights and sounds to take all in. The things that I was impressed
seeing at the airshow were the tend displays. They had military squadron groups, which I enjoyed
talking to to them. I had the privilege to talk to some pilots about the aviation career that I am
going into. Many of them told me that there is a high demand for aircraft mechanics and also pays
well. That made me feel pretty good about the field that I am choosing. But what I really enjoyed

I saw anything from an F 16 flying solo and finishing off with a P 51 Mustang demo. Seeing the
all new F 35 Strike Fighter for the first time which is a lot like the Harrier but way cooler. I was
really impressed by its flight performance. There were things the F 35 did that I have never seen
ever before. Planes are not meant to fly like the F 35 I saw. The airshow had their usual Sean
Tucker demonstration and the Breitling L 39 aerobatic team. That is always a joy for me to see
yearly at the airshow. Finally, my favorite, seeing the Blue Angels were my favorite thing at the

Most schools, both local and international, are now venturing into using mobile computing devices
for classroom instruction. Thus, La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) pioneered the use of tablets in the
classrooms at the later part of 2012 and named this endeavor as the PERsonal Learning device
(PEARL) program. During its initial stage, students of the honors classes were selected as its
participants. On the following year around eight to nine sections in the High School level opted to
join the said program. However, during the course of the said program implementation, certain
issues have been raised that needed to be addressed by the school especially in the area of
student learning. Based on a study made by a group of LSGH High School teachers last February
2014 on the effectiveness of using tablets in Grade 10 English classes, it has been observed that
there is no distinct difference between the non tablet and tablet classes in terms of student
performance. This may be attributed to the following: 1). there is no definite strategic plan made
except for the roadmap on how the PEARL program will be implemented. 2). the infrastructure set
up was not carefully taken into consideration. 3). teachers have not been given enough training
prior to its implementation. 4). the policies and guidelines drafted on the students use of tablets
were vague or lacking in terms of giving sanctions to erring students.

heaven (Shim). Rich families would often buy their way into a higher ranking church position.
Separately, peasants were left desperate after having to pay for christenings, marriages, burials, and
anything else that required help from the church ( The Roman Catholic Church in 1500 ). There
was no other legal alternative for people. The Catholic Church did not tolerate any deviance from

John Hart Sacrifice
I think the 3 major signers who made the biggest sacrifice are, John Hart, Richard Stockton and
Francis Lewis. I uprightly believe that John Hart had the worst of all. This man has been
through it all, he tried returning home to see his wife who lay on her death bed to find soldiers
ruining his farm and wrecking his homestead. He had to sleep in caves and woods and was
hunted across the countryside. When in the end embeded by hardship he managed to sneak home
to find he wife already buried and his 13 children removed from his home, he never saw them
again and died in 1779 without ever finding his family. Richard Stockton, Judge. He rushed back to
his home in effort to evacuate his wife and children. The family had found a place to stay with

The Stages Of Cognitive Development
Children grow through a chain of four serious stages of cognitive development, according to
Jean Piaget, who is a well recognized psychologist. Through the observations he made of
children, Piaget established a theory of development involving four stages: the sensorimotor
stage, which is from birth to the age 2, the preoperational stage, from age 2 to about the age of 7
and the concrete operational stage, ranging from age 7 to 11. The last stage of his development
was the formal operational stage, which begins in adolescence and spans into adulthood (The 4
stages). Piaget said the most outstanding features of behavior happen within the first 2 years of
children lives. The child s world cannot be showed mentally, so in a very literal sense, articles
exist only when the child can physically see them for themselves. When objects are not seen by
them, then they to fail to even exist to the child. This shows the idea of object permanenceto the
child, which is knowing the solidity of an object.
The Sensorimotor stage is measured by children facing the world through senses that they use every
day. The children s thoughts are egocentric, which means that they cannot understand or see the
world through someone else s perspective other than their own (Jean Piaget). Infants start to learn
the world through their own movements and sensations every day. Learning everyday activities
such as sucking, grasping, and looking help in this stage of development. Children learn that things
