Abstract Essay
Crafting an essay on the subject of "Abstract Essay" is a nuanced endeavor that poses its own
set of challenges. The inherent complexity of the topic lies in its abstract nature, which often
requires a deep understanding of abstract concepts and the ability to convey them in a clear,
coherent manner.
The challenge begins with the ambiguity surrounding the term "abstract," as it can be interpreted
in various ways depending on the context. Writing an essay on this topic demands a careful
exploration of the multifaceted dimensions of abstraction, delving into philosophical, artistic,
scientific, or even everyday contexts. Navigating through these diverse realms requires a
comprehensive grasp of the subject matter and the ability to synthesize disparate ideas into a
cohesive narrative.
Furthermore, an abstract essay typically necessitates a high degree of creativity and intellectual
flexibility. Unlike more concrete topics, where facts and evidence may play a central role, the
abstract nature of this subject often calls for a more imaginative and speculative approach.
Crafting an essay that captivates the reader while maintaining a balance between abstraction and
clarity can be a delicate tightrope walk.
Additionally, the absence of a specific focal point in the abstract essay can make it challenging to
maintain a coherent structure. It requires a skillful organization of thoughts to ensure that the
essay flows seamlessly from one abstract concept to another without losing the reader's
engagement or leaving them perplexed.
In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of "Abstract Essay" demands a unique blend of
intellectual rigor, creativity, and organizational prowess. It involves navigating through abstract
concepts, exploring various perspectives, and presenting them in a way that is both thought-
provoking and accessible. While challenging, it offers an opportunity for personal expression and
intellectual exploration.
For those seeking assistance in tackling such intricate topics or similar endeavors, various
resources are available. Services likeHelpWriting.net provide support for crafting essays on
diverse subjects, offering a helping hand for those navigating the complexities of abstract themes
and other academic challenges.

The New Brunswick And Prince Edward Island
Needed. That is just one of the many words that pop into my mind when I hear the
word Confederation. My fellow fathers of confederation as many of you may
already know I am John. A. Macdonald and I am very much in favor of
confederation. When I was just a little boy I moved from Scotland to amazing
Canada West. That is who I am here representing. Since a young boy I have always
thought that Confederation would be a great idea. I have over the years realized
what this would bring to all of us. My fellow colonies of Nova Scotia New
Brunswick and Prince Edward IslandI will tell you today in beautiful Charlottetown
P.E.I why I believe so much in confederation. I will change any doubters to believers
of confederation. Today will change history for the next generations to come, that is
your children and all their children to come. One vote could change everything. It can
take us a long way.
Advantages to every colony is what confederation will bring. The first thing that is
great is that we can build a connecting railway from colony to colony, wouldn t that
be great, my fellow friends. What is so great about that you may ask. Every winter
the St. Lawrence freezes, we can t take the chance of falling through, why not build
a connecting rail way Well obviously you could move from colony to colony so
much faster. There is also a chance for war outbreak with the U.S, and a key to
beating them is to be able to move troops very fast. Trading would be increased

Fences by August Wilson Essay
In Fences, August Wilson introduces an African American family whose life is based
around a fence. In the dirt yard of the Maxson s house, many relationships come to
blossom and wither here. The main character, Troy Maxson, prevents anyone from
intruding into his life by surrounding himself around a literaland metaphorical fence
that affects his relationships with his wife, son, and mortality.Throughout the play,
readers see an incomplete fence which symbolizes Rose (Troy s wife) and Troy s
drifting relationship. Rose wants Troy and Cory to build a fence to keep her loved
ones protected. This is evident when Rose is seen singing the church hymn, Jesus,
be a fence all around me every day. Jesus, I want you to protect me as I travel on...

Troy is entirely stubborn in his ways that he cannot see that times has changed.
Since Troy was fenced out from playing professional baseball, he fences Cory out
of playing college football. Troy and Cory s relationship resembles the fence by its
purpose and physical attribution. When it comes to sports, they are separated by
the different generations, but they come together because of their love of sports.
Like a fence that is meant to separate outsiders, but connected to bring together the
fence. Troy and Cory s relationship continues to get pushed apart throughout the
play. In Act 2, Scene 4 Troy and Cory get into a fight which leads Troy to state to
Cory that his things will be on the other side of that fence. When Troy kicks Cory
out onto the streets, the fence becomes an actual division between both of them. The
two spend a lot of time building the fence, only for it to create a literal and emotional
barrier. The fence becomes a representation of the barrier that Troy tries to create
between him and mortality. Troy has a fixation on Death. He talks about how
Death is an easy fastball on the outside corner (I. i). Troy always speaks about how
he could easily knock a baseball out of the park. Comparing Death to a fastball
shows how Troy thinks that he can continue to always keep Death on the other side
of the fence because like a

How are different experiences of love shown in 3 or 4 of the poems?
All the poems featured in the hearts and partners section show a number of different
attitudes and experiences to love and show how love can affect people in lots of
different ways.
To his coy mistress shows quite a lustful attitude and experience to love rather than
true love , Now let us sport while we may . This poem shows how people can confuse
lust with love and shows how not all
love experiences are good ones.
To his coy mistress is written by a first person (a male) intending to try and pursue
the woman and he tries every way possible to try and do so. The poem s directly
written to the lady almost like a love letter but in the form of a ... Show more content

Another poem with a slightly different experience to love but the same attitude as to
To his coy mistress is the beggar woman , this poem has the same attitude in the
sense that the man is only after one thing from the woman but is shown in a very
different way.
Unlike To his coy mistress the poem is set out more like a story rather than a love
poem and so it doesn t quite seem as real .
During this poem the woman again encounters not a very pleasant experience and
is almost treated like an animal from the man, there to do what he wishes with He
ambles on before, she trots behind . The man within the poem just simply sees her
as a sex object and somehow views himself as more superior to her, obviously as
she isn t nowhere near as wealthy as him Retire a little way into the wood? . Even
though the woman slyly agrees to the mans crude offer you soon see that she was
just simply luring him into a trap, and so gets her revenge on the man for the
experience at the end of the poem Sir
The Issues Of The Syrian Arm Forces Before Supporting

III.Potential options:
In four options of dealing with ISIS problem, there are two options are not possible
to apply. In the first method uniting Syrian arm forces before supporting them
countering ISIS , resolving political confrontation need a long process and time due
to protecting political views and interest of two sides. The rebel will not willing to
compromise with Assad s authority. The fourth option ideological counter also
present the impossibility. As extremist, ISIS has conservative and reactionary
ideology. Hence, changing its knowledge is not realized.
Excluding the first options, second and third option present a possibility in
implementation. The second method military intervention, cooperation with Kurdist
and providing aid for Syrian refugee mentions UN Security Council should
intervene in Syria by military tool that relevant to the permission of use of force.
According Article 2 (1) in Chapter I: Purposes and Principles of UN charter, the
Organization is based on the principle of the sovereign equality of all its Members.
That means UN members must respect sovereignty of each other. In this case, the
intervention in Syria can be prohibited. However, the Article 24 (1) said that: In order
to ensure prompt and effective action by the United Nations, its Members confer on
the Security Council primary responsibility for the maintenance of international

A Brief Note On The Pollution Control Programme
1.1.1Extra fuel consumption
Due to traffic jam, extra fuel consumption is a big problem for a developing country
like India. The government is buying this extra amount of fuel with hard cash. This is
considered a national loss.
1.1.2Vehicle operating cost
Vehicle operating cost is directly proportionate to the traffic jam. A vehicleoperator
applies more breaks and accelerates again and again. So, the lifetime of vehicle
parts and fuel consumption will be more in road jams. Traffic jam actually increases

Analysis Of Yoruban Culture In Death Of The King s
Horsemen
Every culture has its own belief systems, values, and traditions that are important
and related to the history of its people. The Yoruban Culture is one that is close to
nature and believes that life, death, and ancestry are closely linked. The concept of
life, death, and family plays a big role in the play Death of the King s Horsemen, by
Wole Soyinka. It starts when the king dies and Elesin Oba has to sacrifice himself to
fulfill his duties as the king s horseman. The Pilkings, a European family living in
Africa, are ignorant of the Yoruban cultural practices. Due to their ignorance, Elesin
is kept alive, and instead his son, Olunde, dies. The indigenous tribe failed to maintain
their values, thus weakening their cultural identity. Through the failure to maintain
the tribe s cultural identity, Soyinka proves that some cultures might not understand
the traditions from other cultures because not everyone knows the importance of
maintaining cultural values Elesin Oba was distracted from fulfilling his duty which
caused a loss of cultural identity. Elesin is the king s horseman, and as his duty he
must die with the king to escort the king into the afterlife. Elesin ended up not
sacrificing himself at the right time, consequently failing his tribe. Since Elesin did
not sacrifice himself he lost his identity in the tribe. Through Elesin not sacrificing
himself, the tribe loses its identity as well. The tribe failed to maintain its cultural
identity by agreeing to Elesin s
Kathy s Dynamic Characters
When reading a novel, readers are typically more engaged in novels that capitalize
on literary elements. In the art of writing novels, many authors, knowingly,
capitalize one dynamic aspect of literature known as point of view. Having a
change in the point of view forces the reader to pay closer attention to the words
being read and, as a result, they more fully immerse themselves in the story. Using a
changing point of view also allows for the development of complex characters.
Developing complex characters is crucial to the formation of an engaging story.
Without a dynamic characterthere is perceived to be no resolution or closure to a
novel. By presenting and involving a reader in the events that create a dynamic

Kathy initially believed that Hailsham was ideal for the students. Also, that love
was a myth. Her belief that Hailsham was the best place for the students changed
when she went to the cottages. At the cottages, Kathy discovered that there was
more to life than being a carer and donator. She saw the people living normal lives
and working in careers that they loved, with people that the loved. She then
formed the opinion that those people were the best off. The second thing she
learned is that love is not just a myth. Kathy initially doubted the existence of love
saying, You say you re sure? Sure that you re in love? How can you know it? You
think love is so simple? (Ishiguro 231). Because Ruth kept her and Tommy apart,
Kathy had never been with the one she loved. Once she was with Tommy she
realized that love is real and that she was in love with Tommy. Many of the beliefs
Kathy gained were similar to those believed by today s

is the mystery that is still partly unsolved today. It is known that a magazine

magazine was set off by a mine under the water an external initial explosion or (2)
spontaneous combustion of the coal in the bunker next to the magazine an internal...

Compare And Contrast Byrd And Richard Fethorne
William Byrd and Richard Frethorne were two men living in the North American
colonies during the 1600 and1700 s. William Byrd was a wealthy and respected
plantation owner in Virginia, while during the same time period Richard Frethorne
was living as a very poor indentured servant in Virginia. Even though the two
lifestyles these men lived were complete opposites and have many differences,
they share many common issues. William Byrd and Richard Frethorne lived two
very different lives. Byrd was a very wealthy plantation owner that often times
showed off his money. In his free time, Byrd played games such as cricket and
billiards which were games he played with other men. When these games were
played, wagers were often put into play alongside these games. Frethorne was a
very poor indentured servant that often was in need of many necessities. Frethorne
does not have clothes of his own besides one old suit that is falling apart. He only
owned one pair of shoes, one pair of stockings, one cap, and only two collars. While
Frethorne is struggling for survival Byrd is living the high life with money to spend....

Both of these men were faced with challenges such as sickness and disease. Byrd s
plantation had a sickness going around his family and his slaves; this sickness
caused 17 deaths. On the plantation that Frethorne worked for a disease was
spreading which caused more than half of their population to die. Both of these
men were faced with financial issues at least once in their lives. Byrd suffered a
financial loss after Captain Morgan s ship sank due to a storm. Frethorne was faced
with financial issues as well because he was living as an indentured servant and had
little to no money. Both of these men have gone through some of the same issues,
whether it be issues they face their entire life or for a short period in their
Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Horror Genre Essay
Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Horror Genre The horror genre has very set
conventions and rules and horror films have stuck to these but in Buffy the vampire
slayer a new set of rules are written. Joss Whedonhas given the audience another
dimension to horror by subverting the genre, in doing this the effectiveness of the
program is increased.
In the first episode Buffy arrives in Sunnydale, straight away she is under the male
gaze but unconventionally the boy gets hurt looking at Buffy. This continues through
out the program with the roles reversed; now the heroine is the hero. This is the bases

By having a group dynamic this subverts the genre again, as normally it is a lone
hero that fights evil. In many cases it is not just Buffy that fights the vampires but the
group work together to plan and workout the historical facts on many of the
characters that they are up against.
In season 2 Buffy and Angel are going out with each other although Buffy is aware
he is a vampires. This relationship shows that the difference between good and evil is
very close with many of the evil characters having human characteristics. The
relationship between Buffy and Angel complicates the genre, as Buffy is as strong as
Angel so there is no patriarchy in the relationship.
The use of dreams in Buffy the vampire slayer to show Buffy s conscious fears are
very powerful as it puts a question in the audiences mind that maybe her dreams will
come true. The dreams that Buffy has are that Drusilla has killed Angel, these don t
come true but to Buffy they seem very real as she saw what could happen.
The vampires in Buffy the vampire slayer would conventionally choose the popular
kids or people who have had sex to kill but the genre is subverted because they
choose the social outcasts and virgins.
Later in season 2 Angel kills Miss Calender who is a member of a gypsy tribe whom
Angel had previously killed a member, resulting in the rest of the tribe being killed.

Analysis Of Flint And The Nation s Aging Pipeline...
Flint s and The Nation s Aging Pipeline Infrastructure
In the wake of Flint s water crisis it was realized that their aging pipeline
infrastructure needed an extreme update. Flint is not the only CIKR catastrophe
caused by being too tightly coupled, almost every community around the country has
experienced some type of catastrophic infrastructure failure that has led to a large
scale service interruptions, significant property damage, and human injury as a result
of being tightly coupled (Van Leuven, 2011, pp.40). A lot of the nation s aging
pipeline infrastructure is still in need of renovations or replacement because it has
exceeded its planned operating life (Van Leuven, 2011, pp.40).

The city officials were not very competent on the WWS. They believed that they
could just save money by switch over a few things without fully investing the time in
actually understanding how the WWS operates. Over a dozen lawsuits have been
filed in local, state and Federal courts involving Flint residents who were directly
impacted by the lead contaminated waters. The plaintiffs seek monetary
compensations in the millions. One victim sought $100 million because they
obtained Legionnaires disease, which they believed that they received from the
contaminated water (Dixon, 2016). Others are suing an engineering company that
was involved with the switching process of the water from the Detroit water system
to the Flint River. It is believed that the engineering company knew that the water was
dangerous without proper anti corroding agent (Dixon, 2016). The remaining lawsuits
seek everything else, which range from replacing the leaded pipeline infrastructure,
medical and health compensation due to contamination, and also water bills (Dixon,
2016). The defendants ranged from state, local, and government officials including
the Governor Rick Snyder.
How to address the problem The first thing that needs to be done is to hire competent
state officials and emergency managers. The governor did not know the first thing
about water nor did the people around him know as well. Catastrophic failures often
have resulted when central

influence others to follow the cultural norms and feel a sense of national pride.

The tales are less serious in tone and concise. The opening tale begins not with an
instant introduction to the adventure, but rather a conversation between Watson
and Holmes about the former s recent marriage, reflecting the Victorian value of
marriage and family. Sherlock is known for assisting damsels in distress,
showcasing chivalry which was an expected trait of British gentlemen. In the story
A Case of Identity , Holmes is approached by a young Mary Southerland who
requests assistance locating her husband, who has gone missing before meeting his
soon to be mother in law, once again emphasising marriage and the importance of
the traditional courtship rules of meeting the family and a taboo against eloping.
The case ended with no crime committed as the law cannot...touch [Sutherland s

The deaths are far less gruesome and do not include weapons of mass destruction,
rather resorting to methods such as falling off rock quarries (83), supposed
drowning (82), and snake bites (152). Doyle focuses the novels not on the crimes, but
on the deduction, putting a greater emphasis on the intelligence of Holmes instead of
the crimes of those Holmes seeks to

this new reality, my family was soon evicted and relocated to live with other family

would be coming in a short few hours, all my family lived somewhat close to New
Hampshire, my grandparents lived in Maryland, my aunt and uncle and thier kids
lived in conneticut, and my godparents lived in Massachusetts. It was about 8:00
and we were off for thanksgiving break, the entire week. At this time I would still
be sleeping like most 16 year olds, but my Mom wanted to make sure that
everything was ready for my extended family to come in. I was getting ready and
listening to my mixed tape that my boyfriend, Jason, made me of all my favorite
movies which consists of Dirty Dancing, The Breakfast club, Pretty In Pink,
Footloose and 16 Candles. I was wearing my black leggings, SAVE FERRIS shirt,
jean jacket, high top converse, my black brixton hat, and my knock off Wayfarer
sunglasses I got from a drug store. I grab my bag and keys off my dresser and head

A Comparison Of Sir Thomas More s Utopian Society
Imagine a world with pristine oceans and rivers that had an abundance of fish,
rolling green hills that could be seen from miles away, and an environment where
everyone lived in pure harmony. Many settlers and the average European citizens
imagined the New World to be exactly that, their version of a utopia. Due to the fact
that the New World was practically an unknown continent allowed for people like Sir
Thomas Moreto use their vivid imaginations to paint a picture of what they believed
was on the other side of the world. In order to justly say that the New World was
indeed a utopia you have to look at the accounts of others throughout that time period.
From Richard Frethorne s description of indentured servitude and the 1622 Uprising

everyone is looked at as equal. It seems that they have a relatively egalitarian society.

Royal Portal Vs Annunciation
The Royal (west) Portal and the Annunciation and Visitation are both French art
pieces that integrate Gothic styles, the Royal Portal being early Gothic while the
Annunciation and Visitation illustrates high Gothic art. Pointing out the obvious,
they both have four figures on them. The Annunciation and Visitation coincides
more with Roman portraits due to how realistic the piece looks and the way it
mimics a much more relaxed posture. The body language is more apparent as there
are more contrapposto arrangements incorporated. The head tilt, the bent position
of the knees, the swaying of the hips, and arm position adds to the rhythm of the
piece. If we look at Saint Elizabeth, her right knee is bent so we can see how the
fabric moves with the curve of her body. The Royal Portal jambs doesn t quite
reflect characteristics of Roman art because we can see... Show more content on

The figures of the Royal Portal look like columns, much like the ones that they are
each connected to, showing how the architecture and the figures depends on one
another whereas Annunciation and Visitation are clearly independent so they are
freestanding when we look at them. Unlike Annunciation and Visitation where each
of the religious figures are interacting with each other in order to tell the narrative,
each of the individual figures of the Royal Portal look isolated to the figures beside
them. The Royal Portal has more emphasis on the lines of the drapes where as on the
Annunciation and Visitation, the Annunciation is less contoured than Visitation. And
even though Virgin Mary is on both the left and the right, the lines on the robe of
right side Mary are clearly more defined than the left side to emphasize body
language. But also, there is a difference between Angel Gabriel and Virgin Mary
when we focus on Annunciation. Angel Gabriel has more definition than Virgin
Mary as there is a more S shaped figure with Gabriel as he bends his right
Professional Career As A Registered Nurse
A professional career as a registered nurse can be very rewarding, but it entitles hard

education, and support to their patients. Their responsibilities mainly depend on the
type of file they work in. For example, an emergency nurses, labor and delivery
nurses, and school nurses each have specific duties they need to perform in
accordance to their job. Though, in general, Registered Nursing responsibilities are
very similar.
A registered nurse is responsible for assessing patients needs and health care

As I stated before pursuing a professional healthcare career takes hard work and

required to legally be a certified healthcare professional. The first step is to acquire
the proper and required education and training. There are different educational paths
one can take. You can pursue an associate s degree in nursing (ADN), bachelor of

Nursing (MSN). To earn an associate s degree in nursing, you are required to attend
college or a university. The first 2 years you have to take the pre requisites needed to
enter a Nursing program. The pre requisites included English, math, anatomy and
physiology, chemistry, etcetera. After completing the courses that are required, one
must apply to an accredited educational institute that offers a nursing program. Some
institutes that offer this program are Miami Dade College, Barry University, Nova

Hampton Machine Tool Company
Hampton Machine Tool Company
1.Why can t a profitable firm like Hampton repay its loan on time and why does it
need more bank financing? What major developments between November 1978 and
August 1979 contributed to this situation?
A/ Hampton Machine Tool Company was unable to repay its loan on time due to
several factors. One of such factors is the fact that the stock repurchase, for which
the loan was initially requested, was a major cash disbursement of $3 million. In the
period between November 1978 and August 1979, stock repurchase represented 58%
of total expenditures for that period, while inventory purchases represented 42% of
total expenditures. There were some developments that also contributed to this
situation. For ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One of the main reasons for this negative cash balance may be that Hampton is
experiencing liquidity problems, that is, they are not generating enough cash to pay
for their current expenses. Another factor that may contribute to such phenomenon is
the delays in production that Hampton has had because suppliers have not delivered
the raw materials. The inventory conversion period is greater than what Hampton can
finance because the cash conversion cycle is even greater than collections from
customers.
4.Critically evaluate the assumptions on which your forecasts are based. What
developments could alter your results? Is Mr. Cowins correct in his belief that
Hampton can repay the loan in December?
Some of the assumptions include: One assumption that should be clearly analyzed
is that the collection period is of 30 days net. Not always customers have the ability
and willingness to pay off their debts in 30 days, some may take more time, and
some could incur in bad debt. Another assumption Hampton is making is that the
company will be able to pay off debts in 30 days. There is no 100% certainty this
will happen. The assumption that accruals and prepaid expenses will remain fairly
stable and constant should be analyzed more clearly, because this is not always the
case. Another assumption is that the shipments are going to be made exactly as they
forecasted. It is important to note that in the
Study Of Organisms Living On The Rocky Shore Essay
On Wednesday the 9th of March, Students from Sacred Heart College Travelled by
Bus to Siren s Rock s which lies between Owhiro Bay and Island Bay. At Siren s
rocks we had to explore the rocks and collect data of all the different species we
found at the rocky shore. The rocky shore is an intertidal place where solid rocks
predominate. It is useful for the study of Organisms living on the rocky shore. The
rocky shore consists of the low tide, mid tide, high tide and splash zones. We used
quadrats to sample which species was located in these zones and we did this when
the tide was low. Quadrats is a sampling method used to see which organisms are
located in certain proportions. The species I have chosen to talk about in my report

Limpet I found is the Golden/ Radiate Limpet of whose scientific name is Cellana

Antimicrobial and Other Therapeutic Properties of Spices
Spices are natural compounds derived from different parts of a plant which are
commonly used as flavoring, aroma and preservatives. The essential oil content and
oleoresins present in the spices have given them the flavoring and aroma. In addition,
the essential oil can also act as a natural preservative in foods (Ceylan and Fung,

properties such as antimicrobial, antioxidant, chemopreventive and antifungal. The
antimicrobial properties of spices have led to the development of plant origin

Bowlby Attachment Theory Essay
ATTACHMENT THEORY PSYCHOLOGY. Mother s love in infancy and
childhood is as important to mental health as vitamins and proteins are to physical
health . Bowlby (1969) defined attachment as a two way deep emotional bond
which connects a person to another, where they depend on each other for sense of
security across time and space. Kagan et al. (1978) also defined attachment as an
intense emotional relationship which is specific to two people, that endures over
time and in which prolonged separation from the partner is accompanied by stress
and sorrow . According to Bowlby (1969), infants are genetically programmed to form
attachment towards their mothers in a way that helps in ensuring their survival such

Which are proximity maintenance, safe haven, secure base and distress at
separation. The first stage is proximity maintenance, where infants desire to be close
to their caregiver with whom they share an attachment. Because of this, infants
endeavour to be near their caregiver as possible since they enjoy their company.
Also, attachments create a safe haven, where infants depend on their attachment
figures for care and comfort when feeling threaten or in distress. They cry when
they don t like something and stops crying when they have what they want.
However, attachment figures also provide a secure base for discovery. This is very
necessary during childhood. This stage provides infants with the avenue to explore
and learn by themselves whiles knowing they can return to attachment figures for
safety. Lastly, infants experience separation distress when separated from their
attachment figure. For example, infants (kids) become upset and cry when their
mothers leave to work. Bowlby proposed four sequence of phases over which
attachment in infants occurs. The first phase is the pre attachment phase (birth to 6
weeks).Infants displays a built in signals like crying, bring infants into close
proximity with their caregivers. Infants identify their mother s or caregiver s voice or
smell and they are calmed. Attachments starts to formed when babies are smiled

Physical Aspects Of Atrium
Atrium was considered as a sun room back in the old times. These days sun rooms
appears in many homes where people want to soak up sun rays in the middle of
winter or maybe grow plants year round. An atrium is an open roofed part of a
building, though now it more commonly has a glass roof. Although the atriumhas
evolved throughout the centuries, the basic design has remained the same. The word
atrium comes from the Latin and refers to an open central court. An atrium in
architecture is a central part of buildings.
In community spaces, the special is the environmental behavior, in which the study

aspects of atrium pattern design include architectural and functional esthetics.

Criminal Law Does Not Punish People For Commit A Crime
CRIMINAL ATTEMPT:::: Introduction: Criminal law does not punish people for
aiming to commit a crime, but it identifies that conduct intended at committing a
crime may be just as to blame if it fails to reach its aims as if it had been successful.
Hence, the offence of attempt existed at common law but it is now regulated by
statute, the Criminal Attempts Act 1981. ACTUS REUS OF ATTEMPT The 1981
Act imposes liability on those who do an act which is more than merely
preparatory to the commission of the offence. Although the jury must decide
whether there is evidence on which a jury could find that there has been such an
act, the test of whether the defendant s acts have gone beyond the merely
preparatory stage is essentially a question of fact for the jury S.4(3) of the 1981 Act.
Furthermore, an offender may be guilty of attempting to commit a particular offence
where he does not complete the full offence, but has taken sufficient steps for his
conduct to be classed as criminal by law. An attempt is a statutory offence and is
charged under S.1 (1) of the Criminal Attempts Act 1981. Which stated that a
defendant is guilty of attempting to commit an offence if the defendant take steps
which are more than merely preparatory towards the commission of that offence .
S.1 (4) of the Act also stated that, a defendant may only be convicted under the Act
of an Attempt of an indictable offence (i.e, an indictable only offence or an offence
or an offence triable either way). A

his kingdom vaulnerable. Richard disregarded the advice of his elders. He even

Richard lost the support of the nobles and lords, Bolingbroke gained their support.

The bad omen immediately seems to come true. Upon Richard s seizure of Gaunt s
land, Northumberland, Ross, and Willoughby all decide to turn against him. This
action also spurs his loyal uncle York to begin a process of self questioning that
will eventually lead him to Bolingbroke s side. In scene 2 of act 2 Green enters
with news that Bolingbroke has landed in England and has an army with him. This
is unfortunate news for Richard, since he is in Ireland with his royal army and no
one is present in England to challenge Bolingbroke. The bad news doesn t stop
there. As Bolingbroke marched across England, many other English lords have
joined his army. Northumberland, his son Henry Percy, Lord Ross, Lord
Willoughby, and other lords have defected. In Act 3 Lord Salisbury enters and
delivers even more bad news to Richard. The day before, Richard s army of Wales
heard that Richard was dead. They dispersed and fled to Bolingbroke s side.
Richard now must deal with the fact that he has no army. Act 3 is a point of no
turning back for Bolingbroke. Bushy and Green, two of Richard s most loyal
followers, are executed. This demonstrates the escalation of events that could lead
to war. Richard s followers have either left his side or have been killed. Bolingbroke
is left with no choice but to continue his path towards the throne. In scene 4 of act 3,
Queen Isabel learns the truth of what is happening. She overhears gardeners talking
The Salaries Of Chief Executive Salaries
1.INTRODUCTION
The salaries of chief executives is an issue that is heavily discussed on social
media and on news outlets, Increasing and decreasing CEO pay has large effects on
a lot of people worldwide. This essay will discuss to what extent or if at all chief
executive salaries are excessive and should be regulated. I will be arguing for the
opinion that chief executive salaries are excessive and should be regulated, as on
average chief executive officers earn up to 180 times more than the average UK
employee earns a year (M West 2016) which may lead to demotivation of the
workforce and reduce overall productivity and reputation of the company. The outline
of the essay is as follows, I will discuss points supporting the opinion that chief
executives are overpaid and require regulation as well as points opposing this opinion.
2.MOTIVATION AND WAGE GAP
Excessive is defined as anything that is more than necessary, and something is
only regulated when it has negative impacts. The salaries of chief executives may
be considered excessive when regular employees are demotivated by the
significant gap between their wages, the CPID released research that more than
half of UK employees believed high levels of chief executive pay demotivated them
at work and is bad for the reputation of the business (M West 2016). This shows that
high pay of chief executive officers does indeed have a negative impact on the
motivation of the employees, and this may lower productivity in the long
The Madres De Plaza De Mayo s Social Movement
Despite isolation from family members and constant fear of their own lives, The
Madres de Plaza de Mayo s social movement has improved the Argentinian culture

how the Madres movement has changed Argentinain present day society. The real
question to ask yourself is what would you be willing to do for the wellbeing and

First, let s take a look back at what prompted the creation of the Madres de Plaza de
Mayo social movement. Argentina during the years 1976 through 1983 was called
the Dirty Warera. During these years Argentina was being governed by President
Isabel PerГіn along with a deadly military junta dictatorship. The Dirty War era can
be summed up as basically the government s attack on Argentinian individuals
suspected of any political opposition. Opposition was choked off by rigorous
censorship, strict curfews, and fear of the secret police. (Encyclopedia Britanica) The
secret police, or ( government ), would often kidnap, torture and kill these individuals
before disposing of their bodies in nearby oceans, in rural areas, or in mass unmarked
graves. It is estimated between ten thousand and thirty thousand Argentinian
individuals lost their lives during the Dirty War era. Although to this day, the
government has only acknowledged some involvement with approximately nine

channels.
Rupert Murdoch owns one of the largest media organisations in the world, called
News International. This is an organisation which owns products in all mediums.
Press baron, Murdoch started his ownership of print in Australia when he inherited
his first newspaper from his father, the Adelaide News, he made what was a fairly
unsuccessful newspaper into a thriving business. After taking over the Mirror in
Sydney, in the 1970 s Murdoch came to the UK and purchased two tabloids, The Sun

Murdoch s News International owns 50% of BSKYB.
BSKYB/ Sky news was the first of its kind and revolutionised the television
industry, never before had you been able to access current news stories from your
television set 24 hours a day. However the British population seemed uninterested in
the early 1990 s and it wasn t until the mid to late 1990 s that BSKYB started to
make a profit. But in 1998 approximately 6.2million homes had access to Sky News
either through satellite or cable.
Up until the launch of BSKYB the television industry had been mainly dominated
by the BBC. Rupert Murdoch changed that and the television industry became and
still is dominated by commercial television in particular satellite and cable. We then
had access to a huge number of channels for both news and entertainment. This
meant that people felt they had a greater choice in what they watched For example
sport, people who particularly enjoyed baseball were now able to access a baseball
match, and the viewer would feel as though they were taking part in a shared
experience. This is something the viewer would not be able to do with terrestrial
television. In 1996 SKY decided to introduce the first pay per view and charged their
customers to watch the Bruno vs Tyson fight. People paid for this because they felt
that what they were receiving was an exclusive sports showing. Rupert

American History X and the Epidemic of Youth Violence
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost,
But now am found,
Was blind but now I see.

James Garbarino (1999) discusses the boys who are lost and ways that they can
learn to see again in his book Lost Boys: Why Our Sons Turn Violent and How We
Can Save Them. He takes an in depth look at what he calls the epidemic of youth
violence in America in order to determine its causes and origins. By gaining an
understanding of the problem, Garbarino hopes to be able to ascertain some sort of
solution. He provides useful advice and insight about steps we as a society can take
to ensure our boys do not become lost. In order to ... Show more content on

Although the movie is fictitious, there are boys who are living in America today that
express similar actions and attitudes to those expressed by Derek and Danny. The
movie is not a far cry from what is currently taking place in our society today.
Overview of the Movie
American History X tells a tragic story that focuses on two brothers, Derek and
Danny Vinyard. The movie begins with a startling flashback scene in which Danny
interrupts his older brother Derek and his girlfriend having sex to tell him that there
is a black man outside trying to break into Derek s car. Next we see Derek run
outside and shoot and kill two African Americans and attempt to kill another driving
away. Derek is in his early twenties and Danny is 16 years old. Danny witnesses the
entire transaction.
In the next scene, it is the day Derek is released from prison, and Danny is in the
principal s office because he wrote a paper on Mien Kampf arguing for Hitler as an
outstanding civil rights activist. He is instructed by the principal, who is African
American, to write another paper on his older brother Derek. As the movie
progresses, the viewer learns more about the lives of Danny and Derek. Their
father was a fireman who was killed by a black man while trying to put out a fire in
a black community. Derek and Danny live in an area of California that is run by
violent gangs. After his father is killed, Derek joins D.O.C., which is a Neo Nazi,
white supremacist group. He
Impact Of Qin Shi Huangdi
Qin Shi Huangdi (Born 259 BCE), initially named Ying Zheng, was the founder of
the Qin dynasty, and the first emperor of a unified China. He took the throne of the
state of Qin at the juvenile age of 13 years old (246 BCE) after his father passed
away. He proceeded to play a vital role in national decision making, and later
prevailed over 6 rival states. Under his rule, Qin s most prominent impact was
unifying China, including building projects, new forms of government control, and
standardisation. He will always be deemed for becoming the first emperor of China,
and for his prevalent efforts in unifying the country. Despite thwarting two
assassination attempts, and two of his own advisers attempting to overthrow him, he

When Emperor Qin took the throne, he ordered the general Mengtian to reorganise
/extend the separate walls of the former states, reaching an extent to all 7 warring
states . This was to provide a more stable form of protection for habitants in his
empire. 300 000 captured soldiers and conscripts lived, worked and died in the
remote areas of the empire. Slaves were also commissioned to take part in the
construction of the wall. Little of the wall built by Qin remains today, as it has
been rebuilt, maintained, and enhanced; the majority of the wall seen today was
built by the Ming Dynasty (1368 1644). This structure is now a form of
transporting to other states/a tourist attraction, and is labelled one of the 7
Wonders of the Medieval World . Another notable building project undertaken by
Qin was his massive, complex international road system, established in Xianyang.
Qin desired for major roads/bridges from each major city to link to his capital city,
Xianyang. This was so Major Road System Qin could travel to every city, either to
establish a law, trade, etc... This was also designed to allow for easier travel between
cities, and to promote trade throughout the country for habitants/tourists. Despite Qin
being a tyrant, he wanted the lengths of the major roads to be minimum, so the road
system may not cost too many people s lives. The Ling Canal, a pure delight of

Clark and Feldon (2005) concluded that a facilitator who participates and interacts
with students prevents them from abandoning their course. Better cognitive outcomes
occur when students engage and form a virtual community of learners. The
development of a community depends on online interaction with their peers and the
facilitator. Learner satisfaction, perseverance, and cognitive outcomes characterize
the formation of a virtual learning community. Some contest participation as a
prerequisite to learning, claiming students learn sufficiently by observation
(Beaudoin, 2002; Sutton, 2001), and lobby for leniency towards lurking or read only
participation. This article responds to Beaudoin s (2002) article Learning or lurking?
Tracking the invisible online student. He reasoned that students sometimes engage
and learn even when not taking part in online discussions with faculty and other
students and showed that low profile students: spend a significant amount of time in
learning related tasks, including logging on, even when not visibly participating, and
they feel they are still learning and benefiting from this low profile approach to their
online studies. (p. 147) We investigated the importance of student online visibility
apparent in the quantity and quality of participation. We explored as a case study the
successful completion of a postgraduate online course by asking the following

Cheating in a Relationship
Thin body or considerable empathy? Flawless skin or forgiving soul? Straight, white
teeth or virtuous moral judgment and a wondrous sense of humor? Which seem most
important? Although there is a clear distinction between physical and emotional
characteristics, it may be tough to decide. Ask another question, which characteristics
are more important in a relationship? That question may be more difficult to answer.
Both are important but the close bond between two people is more than just skin
deep. The deepest form of intimacy in a romantic relationship is the ability to be
completely free and open with one another, to share emotions, and to share beliefs
and feelings of important values. For that very reason, physically cheating in a
relationship does not measure up to the detrimental effects of emotionally cheating.
Physical cheating is also extremely painful. Physically cheating, whether a kiss or
further sexual interactions causes a wake of pain and distress for the other partner
(Steele). However, emotionally cheating requires one partner to withdraw their
emotional attention from the other. This means withdrawal of a caring attitude,
humor, and intimate conversation from the relationship. Thus leaving the relationship
with nothing but its outer shell. Once a relationship is that far gone, it is almost
impossible to recover, with physical cheating, a relationship still holds the chance of
being salvaged. One reason physically cheating is not as threatening to a
Paul Revere s Role In The American Revolution
I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country! This famous quote from
Nathan Hale was an example of bravery to show the love he had for his country, just
as many other colonists had. Paul Revere, Boston, and the First Continental Congress
all played important roles in the American Revolution.
Paul Revere was a genial man that saved many lives by warning them of the British
s attack. Racing through the dark, Revere warned the colonists. Paul Revere rode
swiftly, carefully, and vigorously to warn the colonists. He was on a mission.
Everyone must be warned. Time is of the essence. In 1760, Paul Revere became a
Freemason and a member of the Sons of Liberty. Paul Revere was very intelligent.
Paul Revere s notorious Midnight Ride took place on April 18, 1775. ( Paul Revere ).

British, but they could not. ( Siege of Boston ). The Boston Massacre, a fight that
helped sparked the American Revolution, occurred on March 5, 1770. While the Red

which angered the British greatly. The Boston Harbor inhaled all of the British tea. (

Antonio Vivaldi Research Paper
Antonio Vivaldi was the artist of my choice because I am actually more familiar with
his music rather than the other artist listed. I chose Vivaldi because I am a fan of the
string instruments because of the beautiful and graceful sound of the string
instruments. Vivaldi specialized in string instruments so I had to choose his music.
Another reason I chose to write about Vivaldi is because of his confident personality.
He knew that he will produce an outstanding piece of music and in a short amount of
time.
Vivaldi s musical contribution to the development of music during his timeline were
his operas that he wrote. He wrote the operas for Venice but they were performed
through Italy. Vivaldi s concertos were very dramatic the way he performed
The Significance Of Truth In A Monster Calls By Patrick
Ness
A Monster Calls: The Significance of Truth The short term pain of accepting the truth
is much better than the long term pain of believing an illusion unknown. In the novel
A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness, a 13 year old boy, Conor O malley, deals with inner
struggles when accepting his mother s fatal illness. Conor experiences hardship when
coming to terms with the truthso he chooses to suppress it with denial and this
worsens his grieving process. Conor undergoes a troubling state where he is
lonesome and unwillingly expresses himself through violence and a series of
emotional collapses. The teen s way of coping is not beneficial to either him or is
family. A monster in the form of a Yew tree comes to visit Conor and guides him
towards the acceptance of truth. Although Conor is not oblivious towards his mother
s imminent death, he must learn from the monster to fully acceptthe condition she is
in, in order to move on with his life. The Yew tree monster guides Conor through
storytelling, thus teaching him the importance of accepting the truth. At times, the
monster takes a step back and this allows Conor to discover the importance of truth
slowly and independently. The way the monster approaches Conor and the tactics he
uses to enlighten him are the main reasons Conor develops throughout the novel as
an individual. Patrick Ness conveys the importance of truth and how difficult it is for
individuals to accept and come to terms with
The Role Of Heteronormativity In New Girl
Heteronormativity is when heterosexuality believed to be the only natural norm in
our society for sexual orientation. New Girl , an American sitcom, aired in 2011 on
Fox, follows Jess (Zooey Deschanel) as she lives in a loft in Los Angeles with three
men she meets on Craigslist. The second episode of the second season is what will
be focused on in this essay. During which Jess meets a stranger when he
accidentally mistakes her for his blind date, Nick (Jake Johnson) believes he has
met his future self, and Schmidt (Max Greenfield) tries to make a good impression
on Winston s (Lamorne Morris) mom and sister. The writers of New Girl follow
basic genderroles within the story lines of the television show. The show follows a
heteronormative plot. Through examining New Girl , a viewer can see the issues
arise when considering the portrayal of men and women in media, and
heteronormativity in television shows.
Within television, there is often a sense of heteronormativity that is shown through
heterosexual relationships and a lack of representation of LGBT+ community. While
New Girl has four main characters, all who have active social/sexual lives, all are
interested in the opposite sex. In fact, there is not even talk about any sexual
orientation other than being attracted to the opposite sex. As Jess is juggling two
men interested in her; Schmidt and Nick tell her that there comes a time in every
person s life when for no reason whatsoever they are irresistible to the
The Understanding of the Monster Essay
The Understanding of a Monster When analyzed online many of the definitions you
will find for the word monster include: a strange or horrible imaginary creature, one
who deviates from normal or acceptable behavior, or an animal of strange and/or
terrifying shape. (Merriam Webster) When observing the MonsterTheory by Jeffrey
Cohen and the 7 theses that he provides in this text, one can begin to somewhat
disagree with these formal definitions and attempt to say that it has an even greater
meaning. Monsters might scare us and frighten us because of their physical
appearances but also can provide us with possible solutions to gaps and uncertainties
in our mind that Sigmund Freudwould label as The Uncanny . I can only but agree

Lastly, the tale of Frankenstein can be observed in depth to prove a point. Some
cultures used the idea of Frankenstein to signify that in the future, we humans would
be our own monsters since we create them. Others use the tale as a way of detesting
against the living things that don t adhere to our norms. Anything that goes against
our mind s norms tends to present fear and anxiety in our feelings. This is the sole
basis as to what monsters are made from. The next thesis proposed by Cohen is
that a monster is the harbinger of category crisis. In order to feel comfortable about
places, people, and things in the word, we tend to group things into categories. All
of these are placed in categories typically by physical appearance and certain traits
that tend to stick out. Well, what s scary about monsters is that they tend to be
unnatural and not just fit into one category, but rather many different categories. One
of the most common characters described by this thesis is Count Dracula, a monster
that is neither dead nor alive. When one cannot be distinguished into a basic
category this tends to frighten us because it goes against one of our common norms.
He breaks our human made laws of nature. Along with the violations of our norm
groups, monsters also tend as an act to forewarn our cultures of crisis. The creator of
Frankenstein can be seen as an act to
Conflict In The Workplace Case Study
A study obtained from the Journal of Organizational Behavior emphasizes main topic
points that workplace conflict can generate team effectiveness and result in positive
outcomes regarding goal setting. The data used within this study was collected from
China. The collection of this data within this location of the world can have a little
bias impact due to the nature that the cultural values in the East are different than
those cultural values of the West. This viewpoint will be briefly touched upon
further into the analysis of this article. To begin with, the synopsis of this article is
based around the knowledge of organizational behaviors related to conflict in the
workplace. The research provided in the article was conducted among... Show more

Those questionnaires were the final measurements of the study. Moreover, the results
of the study supported their argument that conflict can contribute to effective
teamwork. The article conveys that task conflicts and relational conflicts can have a
positive or negative effect on the organization depending how the approach is
handled. According to Edwin Locke s Handbook of Principles of Organizational
Behavior, relationship conflicts are based on personality clashes and can be
detrimental to team morale and the team performance (Weingart Jehn, 2009, p. 327).
Task conflicts can be beneficial to any organization, only if managed when
collaboration between two or more individuals share values and work together
towards a common goal. The findings of this study show that facing the conflict at
hand improved the worker s attitudes. The findings also suggested that team members
who openly approach conflict will improve their performance. According to the
article, avoiding conflict does not mean conflict disappears; eventually, avoiding
types of conflict will result in competition among members of the team (Tjosyold,
Chun, Ding, Hu, 2003). Competition will disrupt the work environment and may not
result in positive outcome for the team or the organization. According to research,
competitive interaction will allow members of a team to outdo one another. This
could result in negative consequences such as the team members will not utilize each

Clocky in America has been experiencing decrease of revenue. To sustain success
in previous years, Nanda Home needs to be aware of the failures on branding its
company and products. The purpose of this essay is to evaluate the failure on
sustaining Clocky s appeal, and to analyze the market situation of Turkey to make
recommendation to brand Nanda Home and Clocky successfully based on the
branding goal of awareness and function.
Although Nanda Home innovated a movable alarm clock, Clocky, it was not able to

Home designed Clocky with funny, playful and lifelike appearance and function of
rolling around to attract both need and fun markets. The essential functions of
Clocky gained the support of people suffering from serious sleep disorders and
inability to wake up but the size of need market is too small to sustain a revenue
growth. Meanwhile, the reaction of consumers in fun market towards Clocky was
not as desirable as what Nanda Home expected. The popularity of Clocky and Nanda
Home is a fad that the unattractive appearance and high price of Clocky could not
retain customers in fun market. The easily replaceable function of alarm clock by
mobile phone and the existence of counterfeit products at lower price further
discouraged the purchase of Clocky from Nanda Home. Though Nanda Home has

Pros And Cons Of False Confessions
People know that false confessions are possible, however, most do not understand
the severity. 66% of people said that if a person signed a confession, they were most
likely guilty (Henkel, Coffman, Dailey, 2008). Only 11% disagreed that a person
might confess to a crime they did not commit. Furthermore, only 42% of participants
said that the police might lie about the police having evidence. Henkel, Coffman, and
Dailey report an overwhelming majority of the participants claimed that they would
never confess during an interrogation. What may lead to a false confession? One
major factor is not understanding Miranda rights. Adults may have some difficulty
understanding and appreciating their Miranda rights, but have a general idea of
their rights. Conversely, juveniles have a much more difficult time comprehending
their rights. The current standard for competency is a having a basic
understanding of Miranda rights (Grisso et al., 2003). However, Viljoen, Zapf, and
Roesch (2007) found that 58% of defendants ages 11 13, 33.3% of defendants ages
14 15, and 7.8% of defendants ages 16 17 did not meet this standard. Moreover, if
the defendant must also appreciate the rights, 78% of defendants ages 11 13, 62.7%
of defendants ages 14 15, and 35.3% of defendants ages 16 17 did not meet these
standards. Comprehension of Miranda rights is critical, as one may falsely confess if
they do not understand and utilize their rights. Age also changes how the juvenile
responds to the
Potty Training Watch Research Paper
Potty Training Watch The Pros and Cons of This Popular Resource By Colleen
Langenfeld Dec 4, 2011 If you are like many parents who are potty training their
child, you have wondered if the toilet training resources available today can
actually help train your child. That s an important question. For example, the potty
training watch is a great concept. There are different styles available for this
watch, but the basic idea is that a parent can set a time say, 60 or 90 minutes and
when the time is up the watch will vibrate or play music to remind the child that it is
time to go potty. Let s take a look at the advantages and disadvantages of using this
popular resource. The pros of using a potty training watch. No hovering; no nagging.

The parent doesn t need to constantly remind the child it s time to go potty or do
you need to go potty? , since the child is expected to simply use the potty whenever
the watch tells her to. The watch is flexible. In other words, as a parent, you can set
the potty watch to go off at whatever intervals you choose. If your child is new to
potty training, you can set the watch for shorter periods of time. Once your child has
progressed in his training, you can set the watch for longer periods of time. High
wow factor. Most children are highly attracted to and motivated by the potty watch, at
least initially. They feel they are being given something adult to use and are therefore
excited to use it. A parent can take advantage of this natural attraction by regularly
checking their own watch in front of the toddler or preschooler, thus encouraging
their child to stay enthused about the potty watch. The other side: the cons of using a
potty training watch. The excitement can

Furthermore, this topic is particularly interesting because the health industry has
grown into a highly competitive industry in Asia Pacific. According to International
Health, Racquet Sportsclub Association, there were approximately 420 fitness clubs
with 350,000 members in Indonesia in 2006.
In fact, the estimated market size that includes secondary spending was $105
millions. In terms of members, Indonesia had 0.14 percent that represented the whole
population.
The vast emerging trend in health industry is perceived differently in the eyes of
consumers, the organizations and the government.
From the consumers point of view, there are several different motives to why they
involve in the trend such as to lose weights, to socialise, for recreational and
relaxation purposes, to improve figure, to increase and maintain fitness level as well
as to relieve stress.
From the organizations point of view, it creates a new lifestyle trend and a new job

Abstract Essay. How To Write An Abstract For Your Dissertation Scientific - How to ...

  • 1. Abstract Essay Crafting an essay on the subject of "Abstract Essay" is a nuanced endeavor that poses its own set of challenges. The inherent complexity of the topic lies in its abstract nature, which often requires a deep understanding of abstract concepts and the ability to convey them in a clear, coherent manner. The challenge begins with the ambiguity surrounding the term "abstract," as it can be interpreted in various ways depending on the context. Writing an essay on this topic demands a careful exploration of the multifaceted dimensions of abstraction, delving into philosophical, artistic, scientific, or even everyday contexts. Navigating through these diverse realms requires a comprehensive grasp of the subject matter and the ability to synthesize disparate ideas into a cohesive narrative. Furthermore, an abstract essay typically necessitates a high degree of creativity and intellectual flexibility. Unlike more concrete topics, where facts and evidence may play a central role, the abstract nature of this subject often calls for a more imaginative and speculative approach. Crafting an essay that captivates the reader while maintaining a balance between abstraction and clarity can be a delicate tightrope walk. Additionally, the absence of a specific focal point in the abstract essay can make it challenging to maintain a coherent structure. It requires a skillful organization of thoughts to ensure that the essay flows seamlessly from one abstract concept to another without losing the reader's engagement or leaving them perplexed. In conclusion, writing an essay on the topic of "Abstract Essay" demands a unique blend of intellectual rigor, creativity, and organizational prowess. It involves navigating through abstract concepts, exploring various perspectives, and presenting them in a way that is both thought- provoking and accessible. While challenging, it offers an opportunity for personal expression and intellectual exploration. For those seeking assistance in tackling such intricate topics or similar endeavors, various resources are available. Services likeHelpWriting.net provide support for crafting essays on diverse subjects, offering a helping hand for those navigating the complexities of abstract themes and other academic challenges. • 2. The New Brunswick And Prince Edward Island Needed. That is just one of the many words that pop into my mind when I hear the word Confederation. My fellow fathers of confederation as many of you may already know I am John. A. Macdonald and I am very much in favor of confederation. When I was just a little boy I moved from Scotland to amazing Canada West. That is who I am here representing. Since a young boy I have always thought that Confederation would be a great idea. I have over the years realized what this would bring to all of us. My fellow colonies of Nova Scotia New Brunswick and Prince Edward IslandI will tell you today in beautiful Charlottetown P.E.I why I believe so much in confederation. I will change any doubters to believers of confederation. Today will change history for the next generations to come, that is your children and all their children to come. One vote could change everything. It can take us a long way. Advantages to every colony is what confederation will bring. The first thing that is great is that we can build a connecting railway from colony to colony, wouldn t that be great, my fellow friends. What is so great about that you may ask. Every winter the St. Lawrence freezes, we can t take the chance of falling through, why not build a connecting rail way Well obviously you could move from colony to colony so much faster. There is also a chance for war outbreak with the U.S, and a key to beating them is to be able to move troops very fast. Trading would be increased simply because for
  • 3. Fences by August Wilson Essay In Fences, August Wilson introduces an African American family whose life is based around a fence. In the dirt yard of the Maxson s house, many relationships come to blossom and wither here. The main character, Troy Maxson, prevents anyone from intruding into his life by surrounding himself around a literaland metaphorical fence that affects his relationships with his wife, son, and mortality.Throughout the play, readers see an incomplete fence which symbolizes Rose (Troy s wife) and Troy s drifting relationship. Rose wants Troy and Cory to build a fence to keep her loved ones protected. This is evident when Rose is seen singing the church hymn, Jesus, be a fence all around me every day. Jesus, I want you to protect me as I travel on... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Troy is entirely stubborn in his ways that he cannot see that times has changed. Since Troy was fenced out from playing professional baseball, he fences Cory out of playing college football. Troy and Cory s relationship resembles the fence by its purpose and physical attribution. When it comes to sports, they are separated by the different generations, but they come together because of their love of sports. Like a fence that is meant to separate outsiders, but connected to bring together the fence. Troy and Cory s relationship continues to get pushed apart throughout the play. In Act 2, Scene 4 Troy and Cory get into a fight which leads Troy to state to Cory that his things will be on the other side of that fence. When Troy kicks Cory out onto the streets, the fence becomes an actual division between both of them. The two spend a lot of time building the fence, only for it to create a literal and emotional barrier. The fence becomes a representation of the barrier that Troy tries to create between him and mortality. Troy has a fixation on Death. He talks about how Death is an easy fastball on the outside corner (I. i). Troy always speaks about how he could easily knock a baseball out of the park. Comparing Death to a fastball shows how Troy thinks that he can continue to always keep Death on the other side of the fence because like a
  • 4. How are different experiences of love shown in 3 or 4 of... How are different experiences of love shown in 3 or 4 of the poems? All the poems featured in the hearts and partners section show a number of different attitudes and experiences to love and show how love can affect people in lots of different ways. To his coy mistress shows quite a lustful attitude and experience to love rather than true love , Now let us sport while we may . This poem shows how people can confuse lust with love and shows how not all love experiences are good ones. To his coy mistress is written by a first person (a male) intending to try and pursue the woman and he tries every way possible to try and do so. The poem s directly written to the lady almost like a love letter but in the form of a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Another poem with a slightly different experience to love but the same attitude as to To his coy mistress is the beggar woman , this poem has the same attitude in the sense that the man is only after one thing from the woman but is shown in a very different way. Unlike To his coy mistress the poem is set out more like a story rather than a love poem and so it doesn t quite seem as real . During this poem the woman again encounters not a very pleasant experience and is almost treated like an animal from the man, there to do what he wishes with He ambles on before, she trots behind . The man within the poem just simply sees her as a sex object and somehow views himself as more superior to her, obviously as she isn t nowhere near as wealthy as him Retire a little way into the wood? . Even though the woman slyly agrees to the mans crude offer you soon see that she was just simply luring him into a trap, and so gets her revenge on the man for the experience at the end of the poem Sir

The concept of life, death, and family plays a big role in the play Death of the King s Horsemen, by Wole Soyinka. It starts when the king dies and Elesin Oba has to sacrifice himself to fulfill his duties as the king s horseman. The Pilkings, a European family living in Africa, are ignorant of the Yoruban cultural practices. Due to their ignorance, Elesin is kept alive, and instead his son, Olunde, dies. The indigenous tribe failed to maintain their values, thus weakening their cultural identity. Through the failure to maintain the tribe s cultural identity, Soyinka proves that some cultures might not understand the traditions from other cultures because not everyone knows the importance of maintaining cultural values Elesin Oba was distracted from fulfilling his duty which caused a loss of cultural identity. Elesin is the king s horseman, and as his duty he must die with the king to escort the king into the afterlife. Elesin ended up not sacrificing himself at the right time, consequently failing his tribe. Since Elesin did not sacrifice himself he lost his identity in the tribe. Through Elesin not sacrificing himself, the tribe loses its identity as well. The tribe failed to maintain its cultural identity by agreeing to Elesin s

She saw the people living normal lives and working in careers that they loved, with people that the loved. She then formed the opinion that those people were the best off. The second thing she learned is that love is not just a myth. Kathy initially doubted the existence of love saying, You say you re sure? Sure that you re in love? How can you know it? This essay will discuss to what extent or if at all chief executive salaries are excessive and should be regulated. I will be arguing for the opinion that chief executive salaries are excessive and should be regulated, as on average chief executive officers earn up to 180 times more than the average UK employee earns a year (M West 2016) which may lead to demotivation of the workforce and reduce overall productivity and reputation of the company. The outline of the essay is as follows, I will discuss points supporting the opinion that chief executives are overpaid and require regulation as well as points opposing this opinion. 2.MOTIVATION AND WAGE GAP Excessive is defined as anything that is more than necessary, and something is only regulated when it has negative impacts. The salaries of chief executives may be considered excessive when regular employees are demotivated by the significant gap between their wages, the CPID released research that more than half of UK employees believed high levels of chief executive pay demotivated them at work and is bad for the reputation of the business (M West 2016). This shows that high pay of chief executive officers does indeed have a negative impact on the motivation of the employees, and this may lower productivity in the long

Which seem most important? Although there is a clear distinction between physical and emotional characteristics, it may be tough to decide. Ask another question, which characteristics are more important in a relationship? That question may be more difficult to answer. The Understanding of the Monster Essay The Understanding of a Monster When analyzed online many of the definitions you will find for the word monster include: a strange or horrible imaginary creature, one who deviates from normal or acceptable behavior, or an animal of strange and/or terrifying shape. (Merriam Webster) When observing the MonsterTheory by Jeffrey Cohen and the 7 theses that he provides in this text, one can begin to somewhat disagree with these formal definitions and attempt to say that it has an even greater meaning. Monsters might scare us and frighten us because of their physical appearances but also can provide us with possible solutions to gaps and uncertainties in our mind that Sigmund Freudwould label as The Uncanny . I can only but agree with... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Lastly, the tale of Frankenstein can be observed in depth to prove a point. Some cultures used the idea of Frankenstein to signify that in the future, we humans would be our own monsters since we create them. Others use the tale as a way of detesting against the living things that don t adhere to our norms. Anything that goes against our mind s norms tends to present fear and anxiety in our feelings. This is the sole basis as to what monsters are made from. The next thesis proposed by Cohen is that a monster is the harbinger of category crisis. In order to feel comfortable about places, people, and things in the word, we tend to group things into categories. All of these are placed in categories typically by physical appearance and certain traits that tend to stick out. Well, what s scary about monsters is that they tend to be unnatural and not just fit into one category, but rather many different categories. One of the most common characters described by this thesis is Count Dracula, a monster that is neither dead nor alive. When one cannot be distinguished into a basic category this tends to frighten us because it goes against one of our common norms. He breaks our human made laws of nature. Along with the violations of our norm groups, monsters also tend as an act to forewarn our cultures of crisis. The creator of Frankenstein can be seen as an act to

Pros And Cons Of False Confessions People know that false confessions are possible, however, most do not understand the severity. 66% of people said that if a person signed a confession, they were most likely guilty (Henkel, Coffman, Dailey, 2008). Only 11% disagreed that a person might confess to a crime they did not commit. Furthermore, only 42% of participants said that the police might lie about the police having evidence.
