Phrase Identification is one of the most critical and widely studied in Natural Language processing (NLP) tasks. Verb Phrase Identification within a sentence is very useful for a variety of application on NLP. One of the core enabling technologies required in NLP applications is a Morphological Analysis. This paper presents the Myanmar Verb Phrase Identification and Translation Algorithm and develops a Markov Model with Morphological Analysis. The system is based on Rule-Based Maximum Matching Approach. In Machine Translation, Large amount of information is needed to guide the translation process. Myanmar Language is inflected language and there are very few creations and researches of Lexicon in Myanmar, comparing to other language such as English, French and Czech etc. Therefore, this system is proposed Myanmar Verb Phrase identification and translation model based on Syntactic Structure and Morphology of Myanmar Language by using Myanmar- English bilingual lexicon. Markov Model is also used to reformulate the translation probability of Phrase pairs. Experiment results showed that proposed system can improve translation quality by applying morphological analysis on Myanmar Language.

This document presents a morphological analysis of word formation processes used by Facebook users in Nigeria. Data was collected through direct observation of language used on the Facebook platform. The analysis identified several word formation processes, including logograms where letters or numbers represent words based on pronunciation, initializing where words are formed from the initial letters of phrases, cases of omission where letters are removed from words, clipping where endings of words are removed, and nonstandard spelling based on pronunciation. A total of 45 examples utilizing these processes were described. The analysis showed that Nigerian Facebook users employ unique systems of forming new words from existing words to suit their social communication needs.
HANDLING CHALLENGES IN RULE BASED MACHINE TRANSLATION FROM MARATHI TO ENGLISH
Machine translation is being carried out by the researchers from quite a long time. However, it is still a
dream to materialize flawless Machine Translator and the small numbers of researchers has focussed at
translating Marathi Text to English. Perfect Machine Translation Systems have not yet been fully built
owing to the fact that languages differ syntactically as well as morphologically. Majority of the researchers
have opted for Statistical Machine translation whereas in this paper we have addressed the challenges of
Rule based Machine Translation. The paper describes the major divergences observed in language
Marathi and English and many challenges encountered while attempting to build machine translation
system form Marathi to English using rule based approach and rules to handle these challenges. As there
are exceptions to the rules and limit to the feasibility of maintaining knowledgebase, the practical machine
translation from Marathi to English is a complex task.

This document describes the development of the first manually annotated named entity corpus for the Myanmar language. It contains approximately 170,000 named entities tagged with types like person, location, organization, race, time and number. An Unsupervised Approach to Develop Stemmer
The document presents an unsupervised approach for developing stemmers for Urdu and Marathi languages. It uses frequency-based and length-based stripping approaches to automatically learn and generate suffix rules from word corpora without any linguistic knowledge. The frequency-based approach achieved 85.36% accuracy for Urdu and 82.5% for Marathi, outperforming the length-based approach. The stemmer could improve information retrieval for languages by reducing morphological variants to word stems.

The aim of this paper is to investigate errors made by second and foreign language (L2) learners so as to understand the strategies and techniques used in the process of second and foreign language learning. Error analysis is a very important area of applied linguistics as well as of second and foreign language learning. It is also a systematic method to analyze learners' errors. Errors are not always bad, rather they are crucial parts and aspects in the process of learning a language. They may provide insights into the complicated processes of language development as well as a systematic way for identifying, describing and explaining students' errors. Errors may also help to better understand the process of second and foreign language acquisition. This study tries to investigate why Pakistani ESL and Iranian EFL learners fail to produce grammatically correct sentences in English, in spite of having English as a compulsory subject at all levels in their learning institutions and schools. What are the reasons for their poor English written performance? In the present study, the writing assignments of university students as well as intermediate English learners were analyzed for the purpose of error analysis. Results of the analysis suggest that students lack grammatical accuracy in their writing and are not sure of the grammatical rules that may apply in their writing in English. The study concludes that they are highly influenced by the rules of their first language (L1).

Abstract
- 1. vi ABSTRACT TRIJAN E. A. FAAM 2015. Derivational Process in Matbat Language (Supervised By Hayat M. Ohorella and Ilham) Derivational process Learning aimed to master the system of word constructions. To learened second language or foreign language, the language learners usually start with learn its words class. These words mostly constructed from some elements morpheme. This case must be understood in order to the language learner avoid misplacement of these elements in sentence. Misplacement in sentence will cause misunderstanding. So, learning the word element shape to be a sentence is very important. In this resarch the writer tried to found out derivational process in Matbat language. The objective of this research was to investigate derivational process in Matbat language. This research was held under descriptive qualitative method in wich come along with grounded theory in accordance with the existence of derivation. The data sources of this research taken from native speakers of Matbat language that exist in Sorong town. The procedures of this research the writer began with made some words lists which contain derivational process that contributing 10 words and distributed the native speakers of Matbat language. The words lists were written in Indonesian language. Those who were going to work on the work list were 10 persons. After the writer divided these words lists, the informant asked to translate these words list in Matbat language. After that the writer analyzed all of data. The data that show derivational process in Matbat language are adjective to verb, adjective to noun, and verbs to noun.
