A common condition among women who have menstrual
periods, PMS can, in some instances, negatively affect quality
of life. The symptoms of PMS, which occur a week or two
before the start of menstrual periods, include cramping,
bloating, and swollen breasts. Other symptoms, such as mood
swings, depression, and irritably, can affect a woman’s mental
well-being and take a toll on her relationships with others.
Symptoms of PMS vary in severity among individual cases.

For instance, a woman might change her diet by cutting back
on excessive salt, sugar, and caffeine, especially in the weeks

provide relief.

needed to help with such symptoms as cramping. However,
