Cloud computing is a promising computing model that enables convenient and on demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources. The first offered cloud service is moving data into the cloud: data owners let cloud service providers host their data on cloud servers and data consumers can access the data from the cloud servers. This new paradigm of data storage service also introduces new security challenges, because data owners and data servers have different identities and different business interests with map and reduce tasks in different jobs. Therefore, an independent auditing service is required to make sure that the data is correctly hosted in the Cloud. The goal is to improve data locality for both map tasks and reduce tasks, avoid job starvation, and improve job execution performance. Two variations are further introduced to separately achieve a better map-data locality and a faster task assignment. We conduct extensive experiments to evaluate and compare the two variations with current scheduling algorithms. The results show that the two variations outperform the other tested algorithms in terms of map-data locality, reduce-data locality, and network overhead without incurring significant overhead. In addition, the two variations are separately suitable for different Map Reduce workload scenarios and provide the best job performance among all tested algorithms in cloud computing data storage.
An Efficient Cloud Scheduling Algorithm for the Conservation of Energy throug...IJECEIAES
Method of broadcasting is the well known operation that is used for providing support to different computing protocols in cloud computing. Attaining energy efficiency is one of the prominent challenges, that is quite significant in the scheduling process that is used in cloud computing as, there are fixed limits that have to be met by the system. In this research paper, we are particularly focusing on the cloud server maintenance and scheduling process and to do so, we are using the interactive broadcasting energy efficient computing technique along with the cloud computing server. Additionally, the remote host machines used for cloud services are dissipating more power and with that they are consuming more and more energy. The effect of the power consumption is one of the main factors for determining the cost of the computing resources. With the idea of using the avoidance technology for assigning the data center resources that dynamically depend on the application demands and supports the cloud computing with the optimization of the servers in use.
Efficient and reliable hybrid cloud architecture for big databaseijccsa
The objective of our paper is to propose a Cloud computing framework which is feasible and necessary for
handling huge data. In our prototype system we considered national ID database structure of Bangladesh
which is prepared by election commission of Bangladesh. Using this database we propose an interactive
graphical user interface for Bangladeshi People Search (BDPS) that use a hybrid structure of cloud
computing handled by apache Hadoop where database is implemented by HiveQL. The infrastructure
divides into two parts: locally hosted cloud which is based on “Eucalyptus” and the remote cloud which is
implemented on well-known Amazon Web Service (AWS). Some common problems of Bangladesh aspect
which includes data traffic congestion, server time out and server down issue is also discussed.
Privacy preserving public auditing for secured cloud storagedbpublications
As the cloud computing technology develops during the last decade, outsourcing data to cloud service for storage becomes an attractive trend, which benefits in sparing efforts on heavy data maintenance and management. Nevertheless, since the outsourced cloud storage is not fully trustworthy, it raises security concerns on how to realize data deduplication in cloud while achieving integrity auditing. In this work, we study the problem of integrity auditing and secure deduplication on cloud data. Specifically, aiming at achieving both data integrity and deduplication in cloud, we propose two secure systems, namely SecCloud and SecCloud+. SecCloud introduces an auditing entity with a maintenance of a MapReduce cloud, which helps clients generate data tags before uploading as well as audit the integrity of data having been stored in cloud. Compared with previous work, the computation by user in SecCloud is greatly reduced during the file uploading and auditing phases. SecCloud+ is designed motivated by the fact that customers always want to encrypt their data before uploading, and enables integrity auditing and secure deduplication on encrypted data.

Cloud collaboration technologies are allowing users to share documents. Resource allocation in the cloud
is challenging because resources offer different Quality of Service (QoS) and services running on these

An efficient resource sharing technique for multi-tenant databases IJECEIAES
Multi-tenancy is a key component of Software as a Service (SaaS) paradigm. Multi-tenant software has gained a lot of attention in academics, research and business arena. They provide scalability and economic benefits for both cloud service providers and tenants by sharing same resources and infrastructure in isolation of shared databases, network and computing resources with Service level agreement (SLA) compliances. In a multitenant scenario, active tenants compete for resources in order to access the database. If one tenant blocks up the resources, the performance of all the other tenants may be restricted and a fair sharing of the resources may be compromised. The performance of tenants must not be affected by resource-intensive activities and volatile workloads of other tenants. Moreover, the prime goal of providers is to accomplish low cost of operation, satisfying specific schemas/SLAs of each tenant. Consequently, there is a need to design and develop effective and dynamic resource sharing algorithms which can handle above mentioned issues. This work presents a model referred as MultiTenant Dynamic Resource Scheduling Model (MTDRSM) embracing a query classification and worker sorting technique enabling efficient and dynamic resource sharing among tenants. The experiments show significant performance improvement over existing model.

Centralized Data Verification Scheme for Encrypted Cloud Data ServicesEditor IJMTER
Cloud environment supports data sharing between multiple users. Data integrity is violated
due to hardware / software failures and human errors. Data owners and public verifiers are involved to
efficiently audit cloud data integrity without retrieving the entire data from the cloud server. File and
block signatures are used in the integrity verification process.
“One Ring to RUle Them All” (Oruta) scheme is used for privacy-preserving public auditing process. In
oruta homomorphic authenticators are constructed using Ring Signatures. Ring signatures are used to
compute verification metadata needed to audit the correctness of shared data. The identity of the signer
on each block in shared data is kept private from public verifiers. Homomorphic authenticable ring
signature (HARS) scheme is applied to provide identity privacy with blockless verification. Batch
auditing mechanism supports to perform multiple auditing tasks simultaneously. Oruta is compatible
with random masking to preserve data privacy from public verifiers. Dynamic data management process
is handled with index hash tables. Traceability is not supported in oruta scheme. Data dynamism
sequence is not managed by the system. The system obtains high computational overhead
The proposed system is designed to perform public data verification with privacy. Traceability features
are provided with identity privacy. Group manager or data owner can be allowed to reveal the identity of
the signer based on verification metadata. Data version management mechanism is integrated with the
system.

a term which is generally used in case of Internet. The whole Internet can be viewed as a cloud.
Capital and operational costs can be cut using cloud computing. Cloud computing is defined as a

a recent field in the computational intelligence techniques which aims at surmounting the
computational complexity and provides dynamically services using very large scalable and

collection of computing and communication resources located in distributed data enters which
are shared by several end users. It has widely been adopted by the industry, though there are
many existing issues like Load Balancing, Virtual Machine Migration, Server Consolidation,
Energy Management, etc.
Cloud computing is the internet based computing it is also known as "pay per use model"; we can pay only for the resources that are in the use. The key barrier to widespread uptake of cloud computing is the lack of trust in clouds by potential customers. While preventive controls for security and privacy measures are actively being researched, there is still little focus on detective controls related to cloud accountability and auditability. The complexity resulting from the sheer amount of virtualization and data distribution carried out in current clouds has also revealed an urgent need for research in cloud accountability, as has the shift in focus of customer concerns from server health and utilization to the integrity and safety of end-users' data. In this paper we purpose the method to store data provenance using Amazon S3 and simple DB.

Cloud Computing is the revolution in current generation IT enterprise. Cloud computing displaces database and application software to the large data centres, where the management of services and data may not be predictable, where as the conventional solutions, for IT services are under proper logical, physical and personal controls. This aspect attribute, however comprises different security challenges which have not been well understood. It concentrates on cloud data storage security which has always been an important aspect of quality of service (QOS). In this paper, we designed and simulated an adaptable and efficient scheme to guarantee the correctness of user data stored in the cloud and also with some prominent features. Homomorphic token is used for distributed verification of erasure – coded data. By using this scheme, we can identify misbehaving servers. In spite of past works, our scheme supports effective and secure dynamic operations on data blocks such as data insertion, deletion and modification. In contrast to traditional solutions, where the IT services are under proper physical, logical and personnel controls, cloud computing moves the application software and databases to the large data centres, where the data management and services may not be absolutely truthful. This effective security and performance analysis describes that the proposed scheme is extremely flexible against malicious data modification, convoluted failures and server clouding attacks.

Performance and Cost Evaluation of an Adaptive Encryption Architecture for Cl...Editor IJLRES
The cloud database as a service is a novel paradigm that can support several Internet-based applications, but its adoption requires the solution of information confidentiality problems. We propose a novel architecture for adaptive encryption of public cloud databases that offers an interesting alternative to the tradeoff between the required data confidentiality level and the flexibility of the cloud database structures at design time. We demonstrate the feasibility and performance of the proposed solution through a software prototype. Moreover, we propose an original cost model that is oriented to the evaluation of cloud database services in plain and encrypted instances and that takes into account the variability of cloud prices and tenant workloads during a medium-term period.
Authenticated and unrestricted auditing of big data space on cloud through v...IJMER
Cloud unlocks a different era in Information technology where it has the capability of providing the customers with a variety of scalable and flexible services. Cloud provides these services through a prepaid system, which helps the customers cut down on large investments on IT hardware
and other infrastructure. Also according to the Cloud viewpoint, customers don’t have control on their
respective data. Hence security of data is a big issue of using a Cloud service. Present work shows that
the data auditing can be done by any third party agent who is trusted and known as auditor. The auditor can verify the integrity of the data without having the ownership of the actual data. There are many disadvantages for the above approach. One of them is the absence of a required verification procedure among the auditor and service provider which means any person can ask for the verification of the file which puts this auditing at certain risk. Also in the existing scheme the data updates can be
done only for coarse granular updates i.e. blocks with the uneven size. And hence resulting in repeated communication and updating of auditor for a whole file block causing higher communication costs and
requires more storage space. In this paper, the emphasis is to give a proper breakdown for types of
fixed granular updates and put forward a design that will be capable to maintain authenticated and unrestricted auditing. Based on this system, there is also an approach for remarkably decreasing the communication costs for auditing little updates
Effective & Flexible Cryptography Based Scheme for Ensuring User`s Data Secur...ijsrd.com
Cloud computing has been envisioned as the next-generation architecture of IT enterprise. In contrast to traditional solutions, where the IT services are under proper physical, logical and personnel controls, cloud computing moves the application software and databases to the large data centers, where the management of the data and services may not be fully trustworthy. This unique attribute, however, poses many new security challenges which have not been well understood. In this article, we focus on cloud data storage security, which has always been an important aspect of quality of service. To ensure the correctness of users' data in the cloud, we propose an effective and flexible cryptography based scheme. Extensive security and performance analysis shows that the proposed scheme is highly efficient and resilient against malicious data modification attack.
A Study of A Method To Provide Minimized Bandwidth Consumption Using Regenera...IJERA Editor
Cloud storage systems to protect data from corruptions, redundant data to tolerate failures of storage and lost data should be repaired when storage fails. Regenerating codes provide fault tolerance by striping data across multiple servers, while using less repair traffic than traditional erasure codes during failure recovery. In previous research implemented practical Data Integrity Protection (DIP) scheme for regenerating-coding based cloud storage. Functional Minimum-Storage Regenerating (FMSR) codes and it construct FMSR-DIP codes, which allow clients to remotely verify the integrity of random subsets of long-term archival data under a multi server setting. The problem is to optimize bandwidth consumption when repairing multiple failures. The cooperative repair of multiple failures can help to further save bandwidth consumption when multiple failures are being repaired.
ABSTRACT
Cloud computing utilizes large scale computing infrastructure that has been radically changing the IT landscape enabling remote access to computing resources with low service cost, high scalability , availability and accessibility. Serving tasks from multiple users where the tasks are of different characteristics with variation in the requirement of computing power may cause under or over utilization of resources. Therefore maintaining such mega-scale datacenter requires efficient resource management procedure to increase resource utilization. However, while maintaining efficiency in service provisioning it is necessary to ensure the maximization of profit for the cloud providers. Most of the current research works aims at how providers can offer efficient service provisioning to the user and improving system performance. There are comparatively fewer specific works regarding resource management which also deals with the economic section that considers profit maximization for the provider. In this paper we represent a model that deals with both efficient resource utilization and pricing of the resources. The joint resource management model combines the work of user assignment, task scheduling and load balancing on the fact of CPU power endorsement. We propose four algorithms respectively for user assignment, task scheduling, load balancing and pricing that works on group based resources offering reduction in task execution time(56.3%),activated physical machines(41.44%),provisioning cost(23%) . 2. INTRODUCTION
Cloud computing is a promising computing model
that enables convenient and on-demand network
access to a shared pool of computing resources. Cloud
computing offers a group of services, including
Software as a Service, Platform as a Service and
Infrastructure as a Service. Cloud storage is an
important service of cloud computing, which allows
data owners to move data from their local computing
systems to the Cloud. More and more data owners
start choosing to host their data in the Cloud. By
hosting their data in the Cloud, data owners can avoid
the initial investment of expensive infrastructure setup,
large equipments, and daily maintenance cost. The
data owners only need to pay the space they actually
use, e.g., cost-per-giga byte stored model. Another
reason is that data owners can rely on the Cloud to
provide more reliable services, so that they can access
data from anywhere and at any time. Individuals or
small-sized companies usually do not have the
resource to keep their servers as reliable as the Cloud

does. By hosting data in the Cloud, it introduces new
security challenges.
Firstly, user can be authorized to store data
in a cloud according to job scheduling with connected
internet.
Secondly, the data owners would worry their
data could be take max storage in cloud or data loss.
This is because data loss could happen in any
infrastructure, no matter what high degree of reliable
measures the cloud service providers would take.
Some recent data loss incidents are the Sidekick Cloud
Disaster in 2009 and the breakdown of Amazon’s
Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) in 2010. Sometimes, the
cloud service providers may be dishonest and they
may discard the data which has not been accessed or
rarely accessed to save the storage space or keep fewer
replicas than promised. Moreover, the cloud service
providers may choose to hide data loss and claim that
the data are still correctly stored in the Cloud. As a
result, data owners need to be convinced that their data
are correctly stored in the Cloud. Checking on
retrieval is a common method for checking the data
integrity, which means data owners check the data
integrity when accessing their data. This method has
been used in peer-to-peer storage systems, network file
systems, long-term archives, web-service object stores
and database systems. However, checking on retrieval
is not sufficient to check the integrity for all the data
stored in the Cloud. There is usually a large amount of
data stored in the Cloud, but only a small percentage is
frequently accessed. There is no guarantee for the data
that are rarely accessed. An improved method was
proposed by generating some virtual retrieval to check
the integrity of rarely accessed data. But this causes
heavy I/O overhead on the cloud servers and high
communication cost due to the data retrieval
operations.
Therefore, it is desirable to have storage auditing
service to assure data owners that their data are
correctly stored in the Cloud. But data owners are not
willing to perform such auditing service due to the
heavy overhead and cost. In fact, it is not fair to let any
side of the cloud service providers or the data owners
conduct the auditing, because neither of them could be
guaranteed to provide unbiased and honest auditing
result. Data storage auditing is a very resource
demanding operation in terms of computational
resource, memory space, and communication cost.
3. SURVEYS
3.1 “Data storage auditing service in cloud
computing: challenges, methods and
opportunities”
In this survey author said that, cloud
computing is a promising computing model that
enables convenient and on-demand network access to
a shared pool of configurable computing resources.
The first offered cloud service is moving data into the
cloud: data owners let cloud service providers host
their data on cloud servers and data consumers can
access the data from the cloud servers. This new
paradigm of data storage service also author
introduces new security challenges, because data
owners and data servers have different identities and
different business interests. Therefore, an
independent auditing service is required to make sure
that the data is correctly hosted in the Cloud. In this
survey paper, they investigate this kind of problem
and give an extensive survey of storage auditing
methods in the literature. First, they give a set of
requirements of the auditing protocol for data storage
in cloud computing. Then, they introduce some
existing auditing schemes and analyze them in terms
of security and performance. Finally, some
challenging issues are introduced in the design of
efficient auditing protocol for data storage in cloud
computing.
3.2 “Efficient Public Integrity Checking for Cloud
Data Sharing with Multi-User Modification”
In past years a body of data integrity
checking techniques have been proposed for securing
cloud data services. Most of these survey assume that
only the data owner can modify cloud-stored data.
Recently a few attempts started considering more
realistic scenarios by allowing multiple cloud users to

modify data with integrity assurance. However, these
attempts are still far from practical due to the
tremendous computational cost on cloud users.
Moreover, collusion between misbehaving cloud
servers and revoked users is not considered. This
paper proposes a novel data integrity checking
scheme characterized by multi-user modification,
collusion resistance and a constant computational
cost of integrity checking for cloud users, this survey
novel design of polynomial-based authentication tags
and proxy tag update techniques. This survey scheme
also supports public checking and efficient user
revocation and is provably secure. Numerical
analysis and extensive experimental results show the
efficiency and scalability of our proposed scheme.
3.3 “Hybrid Job-Driven Meta Data Scheduling for
BigData with MapReduce Clusters and Internet
Approach”
It is cost-efficient for a tenant with a limited
budget to establish a virtual Map Reduce cluster by
renting multiple virtual private servers (VPSs) from a
VPS provider. To provide an appropriate scheduling
scheme for this type of computing environment, we
propose in this paper a hybrid job-driven scheduling
scheme (JoSS for short) from a tenant’s perspective.
JoSS provides not only job level scheduling, but also
map-task level scheduling and reduce-task level
scheduling. JoSS classifies Map Reduce jobs based
on job scale and job type and designs an appropriate
scheduling policy to schedule each class of jobs. The
goal is to improve data locality for both map tasks
and reduce tasks, avoid job starvation, and improve
job execution performance. Two variations of JoSS
are further introduced to separately achieve a better
map-data locality and a faster task assignment. We
conduct extensive experiments to evaluate and
compare the two variations with current scheduling
algorithms supported by Hadoop. The survey show
that the two variations outperform the other tested
algorithms in terms of map-data locality, reduce data
locality, and network overhead without incurring
significant overhead. In addition, the two variations
are separately suitable for different Map Reduce
workload scenarios and provide the best job
performance among all tested algorithms.

3.5 “A new approach to internet host mobility.
ACM Computer Comminication”
This paper describes a new approach to
Internet host mobility. We argue that by separating
local and wide area mobility, the performance of
existing mobile host protocols (e.g. Mobile IP) can be
significantly improved. We propose Cellular IP, a
new lightweight and robust protocol that is optimized
to support local mobility but efficiently interworks
with Mobile IP to provide wide area mobility
support. Cellular IP shows great benefit in

comparison to existing host mobility proposals for
environments where mobile hosts migrate frequently,
which we argue, will be the rule rather than the
exception as Internet wireless access becomes
ubiquitous. Cellular IP maintains distributed cache
for location management and routing purposes.
Distributed paging cache coarsely maintains the
position of ‘idle’ mobile hosts in a service area.
Cellular IP uses this paging cache to quickly and
efficiently pinpoint ‘idle’ mobile hosts that wish to
engage in ‘active’ communications. This approach is
beneficial because it can accommodate a large
number of users attached to the network without
overloading the location management system.
Distributed routing cache maintains the position of
active mobile hosts in the service area and
dynamically refreshes the routing state in response to
the handoff of active mobile hosts. These distributed
location management and routing algorithms lend
themselves to a simple and low cost implementation
of Internet host mobility requiring no new packet
formats, encapsulations or address space allocation
beyond what is present in IP.
4. CONCLUSION
In this paper, we have plan to investigate the
auditing problem for data storage in cloud computing
and proposed a set of requirements of designing the
third Party Auditing protocols. Here we applying job
scheduling process with two phase level, its help to
comparison all type of processing issue from storage
system with respect data and time. Finally, we have
plan to introduce some challenging issues in the
design of efficient auditing protocols for data storage
in cloud computing.
