the most overwhelming issues of today due to the consequences of global warming
and climate changes. Given with the global environmental concerns at hand ,various
aspects of the human activities has been scrutinized, from economic, social,

One of the interactions in the human dynamics that has been associated with

My Dragon In Beowulf
As humans, we all possess great qualities. We develop memories that we can
cherish forever. Hopes and dreams help us strive to do great things. However, we all
have our demons that we all tend to conceal. The famous poem Beowulf is renowned
for the battles against Beowulf and many monsters. The battles in the poem pose as
metaphorical battles. Beowulf defeating the monsters represent him trying to
overcome his demons. The last battle was between him and a dragon. To the reader s
surprise, he lost the battle. The dragonrepresents Beowulf s greatest demon. Despite
the dragons that Beowulf faced that are external, my dragons are more internal.
One of the most hellish dragons that I possess is my anxiety. My anxiety has got
the best of me most of the time when I was younger. It would be difficult for me to
go out with other people. I often found myself isolating myself from the rest of the
world. In the poem, Beowulf , Grendel often hides in his dwelling. A powerful
monster, living down in the darkness, growled in pain, impatient as day after day
(ln 80). Having excessive anxiety has developed into my second dragon which is
appearence. My appearance is the most staggering dragon that I have is because it
is a dragon I know I can never defeat. This dragon was mostly fueled by words that
still haunt me to this day. Being hairy is a big nuisance. People would always make
