What were the strengths of your research?
• I was able to explain why the designer included the colours and why the layout was presented that
way, also why the designer put them type of fonts.
• I had feedback from the questions I produced on the survey which is great because I was able to
get an idea on what my poster could look like, also it gave me more confidence because all
people would notice it more due to the ideas on the rap poster of mine.
How did your research help your product?

on the rap poster of mine. It gave a insight into the profile of the audience who would be interested
in my product.
What were the weaknesses of your research?
• I didn’t do enough detail when talking about my audiences feedback and how would it appeal to
them and what it says.
• I did not do many existing products because I did not manage my time well.
• I did not complete it when I started it and now I have to complete it in a short period of time.
What could you have done better/improve?
• Detail- I think if I had made a schedule for my project, my research could have had more detail
and more existing products.
• Layout – the layout for my research PowerPoint could be improved because it wasn’t well
presented.
• Time management – I would make a schedule to be able to improve my work.
What effect would this have had on your product?
– This would of made a massive effect to my research PowerPoint.

What were the strengths of your planning?
• There is loads of ideas.
• The layout of the ideas on slide 2 of the PowerPoint is really good.
• The detail of slide 5 on the PowerPoint is outstanding because
there is a lot of writing and surprised how much I wrote.
• The mood board is really good because it includes the famous rap
artist today and artists that have changed my life from boring to
awesome.
• The colours I chose for the rap poster idea is included in my
production.
How did your planning help your product?
• My planning guided me to what type of music I could use for my
poster.
• My mood board also guided me on what artist to use on my poster,
so I chose Eminem because I Listen to his music a lot.
What were the weaknesses of your planning?
• When I started the PowerPoint I did not complete it straight away
instead I went on the next PowerPoint, so that means now I have a
short period of time to complete it.
• I did not choose any fonts from my planning due to better fonts I
found on www.dafonts.com.
• I rushed my planning
What could you have done better/improve?
• Make a schedule, this will lead to a better outcome.
• Instead of using PowerPoint for my planning I should of used
www.bubbl.us because that website can make your planning more
visible and have a better layout.
• Also whenever I start something I should finish it, not moving onto
the next PowerPoint till I have finished the previous work. Also I did
not complete my initial plans PowerPoint and moved onto the next
piece of work and now I have to finish that in a small amount of time
this has had a big effect on my project.
What effect would this have had on your product?
• This will not just be a big effect if I put my improvements included in
the PowerPoint, it will make a huge effect.

5. Time Management
Did you manage your time well and did
you complete your project on time?
To be honest I did not manage my time well
as I expected, this was because I did not
make a schedule on what work I should do
each day/week. Talking about schedules I
didn’t have a schedule at the start of the
project which has made my work not as I
expected. Also I did complete my project on
time but it involved me rushing it.
Would your products have improved with
additional time?
Yes my products would of improved with
additional time because I would of
researched for more ideas to put on my RAP
poster, this would have changed and
improved my production.
What would you have done if you had
more time to produce your work?
I would make a schedule on what day I would
do a certain piece of work, for example the
PowerPoints that needs completing the most
I will do first and the other PowerPoints of
work that is nearly complete I will do last
because they are not as important as the
PowerPoints that has loads of work missing.

How does your final product appeal to your
target audience? Reference specific content
• Colour:
The colours that I have chosen is perfect towards
my audience, the reason why I know this because
my age is within my target age range and I have
knowledge of what colours my audience likes.
• Layout:
The layout of my posters is perfect towards my
audience especially the poster of mine that says
RAP in big writing, the reason why I know this
because a lot of posters that I have seen is very
similar to my poster but mine is different because I
have deleted the artists body and half of their face.
Another reason why the layout of my RAP poster is
perfect towards my audience because it tells you
what the poster is about ( Title ), and tells you what
the artists name are and finally it tells you the prices
of an event coming up ( ISSUE 1 Poster )

of mine fits perfectly with my audience and this is
the reason below:

8. Aesthetic Qualities
Does your work look good? Was it creative?
To be honest I think my RAP posters look good and creative
because of the way of the style of the fonts fits with the style of
the music ( Grabbing peoples attention). When I mean by
grabbing peoples attention, for example using bold writing and
making the colour of the writing stand out from the
background. I like where I used a thick outline to grab peoples
attention as well. And finally I like how I put images of artists
into the thick writing because I have not seen any designers
do that, so yes I think my RAP posters are good and creative.

• What did you like about the product?
This is outstanding! My fav bit is the ‘two-face’ poster
showing one rap star in the first half and another rap star in
the other half. Also, the posters with the photos of Snoop
Dogg and Eminem within the letters is beyond my skills!
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
Can’t find any improvements on this, although the white
stroke on the white poster is hard for anyone to see. Snoop
Dogg’s face in the ‘two-face’ picture is a bit blurry.
