6G Training Course Part 1: Introduction

This document provides an introduction to 6G mobile wireless communications. It outlines that 6G is still in the early research phase, with standardization not expected until around 2025. Several organizations are involved in 6G research and standardization, including ITU, 3GPP, IEEE and ETSI. The document also presents a tentative timeline for 6G and an outline of topics to be covered in the introduction to 6G training.
