- 2. Process I started by making a logo for the advert on my magazine so that it looks more like a real company. I basically just did random lines and dots so it makes a weird looking pattern and it turned into the logo you can see now. I made it white so it reflects off the background and it made it look nice. For the surfboards I took the pictures at home and then cut them out on Photoshop and added a wooden background to them so they look like they are in a shop ready to be sold. The white board didn’t cut out very well as the wall was white when I took the picture so when I went to cut it, it merged with the background and went out of shape. The prices are just ordinary and don’t have much value to them but it still makes it look better for an advert.
- 3. Process For the information I decided to go for white writing with a light blue background so that they both contrast with each other and it is easy to read. The font I used is making the words lighter and more thin so it looks more presentable when you are reading it. The information on the magazine is either my experience when I was learning to surf or some information I have found from sources to help strengthen my information. The way I presented the paragraph was so that it looks different to normal text as it is jagged on the sides.
- 4. Process For my front cover I cut out a surfer from a image I found on the internet. This is because their wasn’t any swell and I don’t have any equipment to take photos of waves so I had to make my own front cover using photos that are already made and just merge them together. I went for a white border which contrasts with the heavy colours of the wave and sunset. This is done so you can see the picture better. The writing is very clear so you can easily read what it is saying on the front cover. I enjoy the outcome of my front cover because it is simple but good looking.
