Establishment of vehicular ad-hoc network plays important role in smart traffic management system. Researcher can create VANET by information sharing of road side unit, vehicle and traffic system & implementing it in real world. This system implemented to detect road signs from a moving vehicle. In this technology vehicle is able to detect traffic signs which are on the road side boards e.g. "speed limit" or "school" or "turn ahead". Consider a condition, user is driving a car at night or in rainy season then it is not possible for driver to keep watch on each and every road symbol or the message plates like turn, speed breaker, school, diversion etc. Here in this proposed system every road side board or symbol will use one signal transmitter and the moment vehicle passes from that road side board the vehicle will receive signals with the help of receiver and indicates the symbol on LCD display which is in the car. So that the driver can able to concentrate on driving vehicle.

Mode of transport in the form of urban transportation has a very urgent role in supporting the growth and the development of a city.Microlet is the only public transportation owned by the city of Palu in performing services for users,this public transportation is increasingly unpopular and users tend to be abandoned because of the easeness to get it is very difficult in a sense; where waiting place is not clear, there is no certainty of a long waiting, the negotiations of travel destination and the time required for travelling can not be predicted. The research objective is to create a model that is suitable to be applied based on the people movement characteristics, with the hope of such urban transportation is still able to survive and operate as stackholdersdemands (user, operator / driver and government) and at the end people tend to choose public transportation as an option main mode of transportation in supporting their daily activities. The method of analysis used in modelling the transport trajectory is superimpose method with consideration of; land use patterns, the movement pattern of passengers urban transportation, population density, the service area andthe road networkcharacteristics.Based on the analysis of the division of three zones studied region, then the application of fixed rute is still can be carried out in zone 2 as a downtown area that includes 4 districts namely; West Palusubdistrict, Tatanga, South Palu and East Palu, while the two other zones, namely zone 1 and zone 3 as connector to the city center, city transportation routes can be applied in accordance with the national road that crosses the area of the zone.

Pedestrians form the largest road user group. As walking is the primary means of human locomotion, they are the most unguarded road users at intersections. Pedestrians are allowed to pass only on the crosswalks, walkways which are provided for them. In urban centers, pedestrian flows can be significant, they must be accommodated in planning & design of traffic facilities and controls. Most of the potential pedestrian conflicts exist at the intersections.

BRTS is a very old form of public transport, but it is still a new concept for developing countries like India, because of its psychological aspects. Bus Rapid Transit involves synchronized improvements in a transport system’s infrastructure, equipment, working, performance and technology that give preference to buses on urban roadways. This paper gives an overall outlook of Delhi and Pune BRT systems and observed some common problems in operating both the system, and some recommendations are mentioned so that could help improving Pune BRTS immensely and influentially and have a better result avoiding bottlenecksthose faced byDelhiBRTS.The main present study intent to highlight the problems and to overcome those problems. To know the entry time of bus to a bus stop is the fundamental data each travel clients need to know. Sitting tight for quite a while at a bus stop debil itates the individuals to depend upon open transpor ts. In this paper,we display a framework which can forese e the landing time of bus to a specific bus stop considering the ongoing parameters that influences the travel time of transport. With transport module,the ongoing parameters that influence travel time a re persistently gathered and used to foresee the bu s arrival time at different transport stops. A portab le application is created to help the questioning c lients in getting the arrival time of bus to a specific st op. As there will be postpone in travel time becaus e of the vehicles on street,street movement is displaye d utilizing M/G/1 lining hypothesis to ascertain th e delay created by other vehicles going in the same s treet. Server predicts the arrival time on the real time basis by bus module and the data shown in the datab ase of server. Server is coded such that it sends t he anticipated arrival time of transport to the questi oned users wireless at each bus stop it goes till i t achieves the stop questioned by client. Arrival tim e got by clients helps the travel clients to arrang e their schedule and reach the bus stop in time. Such an an ticipating framework propels the non clients of ope n transport frameworks to utilize them and avoid the utilization of private vehicles in their normal lif e.

Public transport service is one of the most preferred modes of transportation in today’s smart cities. People prefer public transport mainly for the cost benefit reasons. The problems faced by the people while using the public transport can be overcome by the technology such as Internet of Things (IOT). In this paper, we present how this technology can be applied to eliminate the problems faced by the passengers of the public bus transport service. The Internet of Things technology is used to provide the passengers waiting at the bus stop with real time information of the arriving buses. Information such as arrival time, crowd density and traffic information of the arriving buses are predetermined and provided to the passengers waiting at the bus stop. The display boards fitted at the bus stops provide the real time bus navigation information to the waiting passengers. This Smart Bus Navigation system enables the passengers to make smart decisions regarding their bus journey. This system reduces the anxiety and the waiting time of the passenger’s at the bus stop. The smart bus navigation system creates a positive impact and increases the number of people who prefer to use the public mode of transportation.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software Fuzzing

Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process. In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds. - These are slides of the talk given at IEEE International Conference on Software Testing Verification and Validation Workshop, ICSTW 2022.
