This document outlines a proposed mobile application that allows communication between bus passengers and drivers. The app would use GPS to allow passengers and drivers to track each other's locations. It aims to address the problem of lack of communication that can lead to passengers being left behind. The objectives are to design and develop a tracking and notification system between buses and passengers. The scope is limited to passengers, drivers and administrators using mobile apps. Literature on existing transportation tracking apps is reviewed, noting advantages like safety but also limitations like cost or platform restrictions. Expected results include drivers seeing passenger locations and notifying drivers of low passenger counts.
