I chose these colours because my game is set in a
dystopian, abandoned town avoid of all things
bright and living. These kind of colours – dark
browns, greens and blues – connote a feeling of
depression and dread. And the purples show an air
of mystery, which ties in with the theme of figuring
out what happened to the abandoned town.
I chose these fonts because they are old bold in a
scratchy, industrial way and helps evoke the
images of dystopia and harsh surroundings in
which my game is set it.

I chose these pictures to
represent my videogame
because they are all pixel art,
same as my video games.
These pictures all have the
same abandoned, dystopian
aspects that I expect to appear
through out my game. Moody
colours that represent cold
and darkness help connote the
sense of a neglected,
mysterious environment.

7. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Photoshop/ Premiere pro glitches and I’m
unable to use it on one of the Pcs or macs.
Make sure I save my work whenever possible
and move to another computer.
I loose my memory stick which holds all of
my work on it or it gets damaged and no
longer works.
Back up all of my work onto File Away or email
it to myself and my tutor.
I’m sick and unable to do any of the work. Email my tutor and ask for help. Look for other
ways of furthering progress as much as I can.
Do any work that I can and have access too at
home.

8. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be avoided?
Back pains from been sat down too long or
leaning over the computer.
Make sure to consistently change positions in
order to keep the circularisation in your body
going. Make full use of breaks, walking around
and stretching out.
Headaches from looking at a computer screen
too long.
Take regular breaks to stop the pressure in your
head becoming too bad. Be sure to wear glasses
if needed. Make sure you are getting sleep and
eating healthy to minimalize the risk.
Eyes stinging from look a computer screen for
too long.
Blink and drink water to keep your eyes
hydrated. Make sure to get lots of rest before
college to minimalize the risk of this problem.
Water spilled onto electronics that could cause
a fire.
Make sure all drinks are put away and
definitely out reach from the computers. Drink
outside of the room or somewhere far away
from the electronics.
Breaking equipment. Be sure to treat equipment with respect and
don’t do anything that could put them in harms
way. Follow rules such as no drinking around
the equipment and handling everything with
care.
