Style sheet
Style sheet
• Fonts
- The fonts in the style sheet will be used in the magazine as the fonts show that the magazine
is informal which is a good way to attract my audience as the audience is young and will find
the magazine tedious and not want to read the magazine. The gold font will be used in my
award poster as the font is not formal and will excite the customer and make them want to
attend the fake ceremony.
• Colours
- The colours will be used in the front cover for the poster as they are bright which will be used to attract
the audience. I used a different gradient of silver so that in the advergame the main characters costume
will stand out more and it will be clear to see who the customer will be controlling. The silver will make the
costume look more realistic and will give a variation to the look of the game, eliminating the fact the game
can have a boring look to the game and not be appealing to my audience.
• Image styles
- The images I have used in the style sheet represent how the game will be set out and show a basic
concept of how the game will be played. This is a good way to see weather a game will be a success or not as
existing products show the types of games that have become a success in screen runner games. The images
also show how the visual products will be set out, this is a good way to determine which style will fit with your
idea the best, meaning you have a basic structure to your visual product but not exactly the same, making sure
your visual product is not going to have problems with copyright and also making it have a unique side to the
product.
Layout 1
The layout plan is a basic idea of what
the game will look like when finalised.
The character will stand out more than
the other characters because the
character the user I controlling will be
on the left of the screen when the game
starts so the player will be able to
understand who they're controlling
making the game clear and simple so
that the so that there is no confusion,
the game will have a background of a
castle so that the player can see his goal
which will motivate them to carry on
and play the game more until the finish
it. The colours are dark so that the
player will be excited by the how dark
the game is and keep them on the edge
removing the fact the game could be
tedious. The characters looking at each
other with anger shows that they're
enemies which will mean there will be a
battle. This will attract my audience as
teenagers/ young adults like to see
violence and be a part of it.
Level: 2/75
Layout 2
Game Central
The new Taken has now
been released to all stores
near you!
More information inside!
The layout plan shows a very rough
copy of how the magazine will look
like, I will have an image of the
character and the enemies also to
show features in the game and the
images are used as a ‘teaser’ to excite
the customer as they give the customer
an insight into what the game is about
but not enough to give the full story
away and ruin the game. The font used
in the magazine is ‘poplar std’ which is
good way to entice my audience as
younger audiences like a font that is
easy on the eye and will not challenge
the reader. The colours in the magazine
suggest that that is informal which will
encourage people to read the
magazine, when they’re in their
recreational time. Bright colours are a
good way to attract customers as it
stands out, also it is clear that the
magazine is not a serious magazine as
if it was serious like a newspaper the
font would be formal such as ‘Calibri
(body)’ and the colours would be plain
and dull.
The new call of duty modern
warfare remastered has been
released read more inside

  • 3. Style sheet • Fonts - The fonts in the style sheet will be used in the magazine as the fonts show that the magazine is informal which is a good way to attract my audience as the audience is young and will find the magazine tedious and not want to read the magazine. The gold font will be used in my award poster as the font is not formal and will excite the customer and make them want to attend the fake ceremony. • Colours - The colours will be used in the front cover for the poster as they are bright which will be used to attract the audience. I used a different gradient of silver so that in the advergame the main characters costume will stand out more and it will be clear to see who the customer will be controlling. The silver will make the costume look more realistic and will give a variation to the look of the game, eliminating the fact the game can have a boring look to the game and not be appealing to my audience. • Image styles - The images I have used in the style sheet represent how the game will be set out and show a basic concept of how the game will be played. This is a good way to see weather a game will be a success or not as existing products show the types of games that have become a success in screen runner games. The images also show how the visual products will be set out, this is a good way to determine which style will fit with your idea the best, meaning you have a basic structure to your visual product but not exactly the same, making sure your visual product is not going to have problems with copyright and also making it have a unique side to the product.
  • 4. Layout 1 The layout plan is a basic idea of what the game will look like when finalised. The character will stand out more than the other characters because the character the user I controlling will be on the left of the screen when the game starts so the player will be able to understand who they're controlling making the game clear and simple so that the so that there is no confusion, the game will have a background of a castle so that the player can see his goal which will motivate them to carry on and play the game more until the finish it. The colours are dark so that the player will be excited by the how dark the game is and keep them on the edge removing the fact the game could be tedious. The characters looking at each other with anger shows that they're enemies which will mean there will be a battle. This will attract my audience as teenagers/ young adults like to see violence and be a part of it. Level: 2/75
  • 5. Layout 2 Game Central The new Taken has now been released to all stores near you! More information inside! The layout plan shows a very rough copy of how the magazine will look like, I will have an image of the character and the enemies also to show features in the game and the images are used as a ‘teaser’ to excite the customer as they give the customer an insight into what the game is about but not enough to give the full story away and ruin the game. The font used in the magazine is ‘poplar std’ which is good way to entice my audience as younger audiences like a font that is easy on the eye and will not challenge the reader. The colours in the magazine suggest that that is informal which will encourage people to read the magazine, when they’re in their recreational time. Bright colours are a good way to attract customers as it stands out, also it is clear that the magazine is not a serious magazine as if it was serious like a newspaper the font would be formal such as ‘Calibri (body)’ and the colours would be plain and dull. The new call of duty modern warfare remastered has been released read more inside
