This document outlines a plan to increase the use of mobile learning technologies at Lamar University. The goal is to have 10 faculty incorporate at least 3 instances of mobile apps or BYOD techniques per course by Fall 2017. Faculty will research mobile trends, experiment with apps in courses, and present experiences. Progress will be tracked via surveys on a website and display. Weekly accountability meetings will review commitments and scoreboard. The 5 stages of change model will be used - getting clear on the goal, launching faculty into action, adoption of mobile technologies, optimizing performance, and making mobile learning a habit.
