This proposal is for a satirical point-and-click video game about natural disasters caused by human stupidity. The target audience is males aged 16 and older from lower and middle socioeconomic classes interested in current events. Research will include analyzing news on the Australian bushfires and critically acclaimed games in the same genre. The game will allow the player to control how a person destroys the world through man-made disasters, commenting on events like the Australian bushfires being blamed on nature rather than human factors. Progress will be evaluated through ongoing self-reflections and feedback from peers to improve skills in visual design, audio, and storytelling for future media projects.
