2. I began my experiment by formulating a script to help me
say words clear and organised. I used Word for this because
it seemed the most useful typing tool to make the script
stand out and easy to read. I started the script and in
brackets said the sound effects.
I continued to construct the script, there
were some spelling errors but I corrected
them after a sentence was complete.
Throughout the script, I made some marks
in which describe the action because since
it is audio, it cannot be seen only heard.
Because I overdue the amount of text of
the first page, it went onto the next
page where I continued the script.
I correct the mistakes as I go on,
as I describe my halfway point of
my college day morning routine.
Continuing making corrections and
conjure up the lines.
I come up to the part of where I
describe what I do before I lock
the door.
I then describe about when I give
my dog a biscuit and make sure my
bus ticket is in with my pass.
Finally, I explain myself locking
my door in time to catch the bus
that leads to college.
3. With the help of my mum, I made the
vocals for the experiment but using my
laptop’s voice recorder in order to claim a
clear viable podcast to be downloaded
upon Premier Pro when the time came.
One I had record my vocals, I turned for
my mum for her contribution and to what
she usually says to me on a morning when
I come down stairs, also I am greeted by
my pet dog Lucky, however, since
Saturday 2nd March 2019, that does not
happen anymore, with this death having
been occurred on that day. Once all the
recordings were obtained, I then saved it
onto my emails ready to be used at
college.
4. Finally, once the recording's were saved onto the files at college, I began to import the audio onto the
Premier Pro programme, and because the audio was taken in shots, I had to organise them to make sure
they are chronological just like the script identified. I started out with when mum shouts my name from
downstairs in order to wake me up to get ready for the day ahead. The groaning sound is when I wake up
from a deep sleep. I then explain how the early morning wake ups can be rough, awful and tiring
especially when you wake up about ten to seven in the morning, however I don’t want to miss the bus. I
then go on how I am welcomed by my late dog Lucky who always welcomed me when I came downstairs.
After that, I get my breakfast, which a variety choice considering what I’m in the mood for. I then move
onto to the bathroom where I go to the toilet and brush my teeth to feel more clean after when I get
dressed. Once I’m dressed, I get my shoes on, usually gave Lucky a biscuit and then lock the door to head
off the bus stop. The audio seemed to be set out chronologically as intended.
5. Next, it’s time to add some music to the podcast to make it all interesting and
attracting for the audience to enjoy. First, I needed to find a YouTube Converter to
save some music into my files, so I went onto 2conv.com to convert music for my
audio. I started out with the instrumental version of Ready For the Weekend by Calvin
Harris. First, I looked up the song on YouTube, then copied it’s link into the main
screen of the converter ready to be saved into my files. I waited for it to be converted
into an MP3 so it would become an audio file. Once that was completed, I then
proceeded to download it into my files to be imported into Premier Pro ready to be
altered. Once placed with my vocals, I made sure it is lower in volume so that the
audio is heard over the top and it made space for the other track.
6. Then, I moved onto the next track, a sample of the piano
instrumental of My Little Pony Equestria Girls song:
Invisible. This will come after I sigh when I wake up form
my deep sleep. I went through the same process as the
last, the only difference is that I cropped the track to make
it fit with the first pee of dialogue of me explain about
morning wake ups early.
7. Once the audio was checked over and seen to, t
was time to export it into my files and set to my
Tutor. I simply clicked on Export, then Media to
upload the process. Once that was done, I then
clicked to change it to an MP3 audio, then
changed the output name to Experiment. Finally,
I pressed export, then it was saved into my files.
8. • What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
I will use the large room effect that I used for my audio when I edited it to
make it mire interested. Also, I will also use the cross fade effect for the
ending and not make it finish in a shot just like that.
